TAKE TWO WITH TOOREEN: Shamrock napped Tooreen Legend last Friday at Dundalk but the meeting was cancelled due to high winds. Dundalk is back today and so is Tooreen Legend.
Hopefully no problems with Dundalk tonight. This is the replacement card for last Friday when the meeting was called off due to high winds which in turn had caused some safety issues with the building infrastructure.
I see no reason not to stick with my nap Tooreen Legend in the 6.20 who created a favourable impression on his debut over course and distance when a staying on fourth to the odds-on shot Sacred Dragon.
He was an 18/1 shot that day and the form of the race has taken a boost by the subsequent wins of the second Mazandaran and the third Super Sling.
The stable are a little quiet but that’s the only negative I can see on what looks a solid bet.
Zadawan is interesting on pedigree but is likely to need the race and was very weak in the BETDAQ market last Friday before the meeting was called off.
Pearl Of Africa sets the form standard but she is another who was notably weak in the market last Friday and has also been off the track since October last year.
