AIDAN O’BRIEN AT DUNDALK: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the seven furlong maiden on tonight’s Dundalk card.
Aidan O’Brien has two runners at tonight’s card at Dundalk and they both run in the seven furlong maiden at 7pm.
Preference is for Hence who should enjoy a fitness advantage, having already run on the turf this season at Naas where she was a creditable second to Katie Cruel in a big field two week ago.
She’s back on the all-weather tonight and also up in trip which should help. Her stable companion is Could It Be Love who wasn’t beaten far when third at the Curragh and fourth at Cork last season but is trying the trip and all-weather for the first time here.
Wishing Star also comes into the reckoning after a good course and distance third on debut but she may fare better over longer trips later this season.
