9/4 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 9/4 WINNING NAP on Monday with Dali in the Listed Midsummer Sprint Stakes.
A comfortable win from Dali in the Midsummer Sprint Stakes at Naas yesterday to land the NAP (AND ONLY BET) at 9/4.
Good luck to the Irish challenge at Royal Ascot today but I’m staying closer to home for the nap and heading to Sligo’s evening flat meeting.
The Dermot Weld trained Wentwood looks the banker on the card for me in the 6.20. He made a pleasing debut at Leopardstown when seventh in a big field and then stepped up on that effort to win well at Listowel last time out. He was value for much more than the official one length winning margin and looks set to improve further.
His rivals look quite exposed with the exception of the Gordon Elliott trained Monkeylou who hasn’t been seen since finishing fifth in a Listed race at Tipperary last season and he could well be the danger.
