STUCCODOR FOR THE LINCOLN – BUT WHICH ONE? Dermot Weld has Stuccodor entered in both the Doncaster Lincoln and the Irish Lincolnshire on Sunday which he attempts to win for the second year running.
All systems go on the new flat season both sides of the Irish Sea this weekend and an interesting contender is the Dermot Weld trained Stuccodor who has entries both at Doncaster and again at the Curragh.
The ground was soft to heavy when Stuccodor won the Irish Lincolnshire last year and in doing so justifying his 11/2 favourite tag.
The ground is clearly the key – Dermot Weld states that the six-year-old will only travel to Doncaster if the ground comes up soft. It is currently good to soft and good in places with only light showers forecast.
Dermot Weld won the Doncaster Lincoln with Saving Mercy in 1984.
