7/2 WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed a 7/2 WINNING NAP from his only bet on Tuesday. A Wave Of The Sea got up close home to win the final race at Sligo.

A very nice 7/2 WINNING NAP at Sligo on Tuesday with the Joseph O’Brien trained A Wave Of The Sea who regained the lead bravely to win the final maiden on the card.

They race at Wexford this afternoon and Cork this evening where the one mile maiden at 7.05pm looks a three-way match between the Mick Halford trained Balefire, Jessica Harrington’s Morpho Blue and the Dermot Weld trained Tranchee.

Narrow preference is for Tranchee who made a very promising debut at Naas last September when third to Magna Grecia – a literal reading of that form makes it out of the top drawer given the winner has gone on to with the Futurity and the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket !!

Morpho Blue was only beaten a short head by Happen at Leopardstown and the winner has gone on to win a Group 3 whilst Balefire’s four length second to California Daddy over course and distance doesn’t look quite look up to the level set by the other pair.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Tranchee (7.05 Cork)
