Nicole’s Milan is a short price for a handicap chase but with most of his opposition badly out of form stands out as the best bet on Wednesday’s Fairyhouse card in the 3.55pm race.
Ridden by Davy Russell, Nicole’s Milan was second at Punchestown last time out in a race that looked better than this one and those that supported him at 5/6 can look to recover losses here on his handicap debut.
The only danger for me is Flemenstorm who was a good second here over a slightly shorter trip over hurdles. He wasn’t showing much recent enthusiasm for the larger obstacles prior to that however.
