SPIN AROUND KILLARNEY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the 1m 6f maiden at Killarney tonight.
The long distance maiden at Killarney tonight looks to be an intriguing match up between the Willie Mullins trained Legal Spin and the Joseph O’Brien runner High Mounte, with preference for the former.
Both finished runner-up on their debut efforts.
Legal Spin finished second to Victory Salute over 1m 2f at Cork giving the impression that the extra distance here will be ideal, which is no surprise given he hails from the Mullins yard.
High Mounte was second to Lethal Power in a bunch finish at Roscommon also over a shorter trip than tonight. The form of the race took a boost when Lethal Power won a Leopardstown handicap subsequently.
