ANOTHER ART CLASS FROM MULLINS?: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the opening maiden hurdle at Punchestown this evening which looks destined to be another winner for Willie Mullins.

A 66/1 winner popped up last year to win the opening race at Punchestown tonight but I can’t see lightning striking twice and this should be at the mercy of the Willie Mullins trained Authorized Art.

The four-year-old joins the stable from France where he finished second at Clairefontaine back in September on his hurdling debut having also won on the flat in France.  He follows a well trodden and proven path in joining the Mullins yard having shown ability in French races.

There doesn’t look to be too much decent form about here from those who have run, although it would come as no surprise to see the Joseph O’Brien trained Fightfortheroses improve from his Leopardstown debut where he showed plenty of promise despite having been hampered.

NAP: Authorized Art (5.45 Punchestown)
