SHAMROCK STARTS WEEK WITH WINNING NAP: SHAMROCK landed his first nap of the week on Tuesday when his only bet Alanannda won the opener at Sligo at even money.

A nice start to the week with Alanannda staying on well in the closing stages at Sligo to win the opener at evens.

Wexford stage an eight race card tonight over the jumps.

Kagney looks the nap on the card in the beginners chase at 7.45pm. The Noel Meade trained runner shaped well after a lengthy break to finish second on his chasing debut to Camlann at Kilbeggan. He was only headed inside the closing stages that day after understandably needing the run.

This race shouldn’t take much winning (Consharon Boy is a non runner). Biggest danger might be the Willie Mullins trained Orion D’Aubrelle who was most recently fourth (at 40/1) in a huge field Punchestown handicap hurdle. That was a decent class event and if showing the same aptitude over the larger fences should go close.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Kagney (7.45pm Wexford)
