STOCKPORT COUNTY V WEST HAM

8pm We had a cracking weekend in the FA Cup and we have Monday Night Football to finish it off as Stockport County host West Ham. It’s fair to say we’ve seen everything this weekend with some wild swings in the betting on team news on BETDAQ Betting Exchange and huge underdogs winning – it’s been fantastic. We have another big underdog here with Stockport County as West Ham are trading 1.37 at the time of writing.

It’s fair to say that there is a huge gulf in class here, with Stockport playing their football in the Conference Premier. Most Premier League have probably never watched a game from that league – it’s only for the hardcore football fans. West Ham are probably a shade of value at 1.37 given the gulf in class, but we’re likely to see David Moyes rest a host of his usual starting XI here so I’m keen to find better value in the side markets.

West Ham have been excellent this season, especially when compared to how they played last season. David Moyes has actually done a fantastic job – perhaps unexpectedly given how he was view since getting sacked by Manchester United. They have created a host of chances, and while we should see some changes tonight, we’re likely to see goals.

This is only a game for small stakes, however I like over 2.5 goals here at 1.6. West Ham may have had two quiet games in the Premier League, but overall their games have been packed with goals and if we see an early goal here we could see a lot. Stockport County have nothing to lose, while West Ham have created a lot this season they have also given up chances at the back and I can see a pretty open game here.
