BRENTFORD V SWANSEA

3pm We have one of the most important games in football on Saturday! Most football fans will think of the Champions League Final tonight when I say that, but the Championship Final is one of the biggest games in football in terms of money. Brentford and Swansea are one step away from the Premier League riches and we should have an excellent and tense affair. All football bets are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange today, so hopefully we can find a winner.

It’s fair to say that Swansea probably didn’t expect to be here. They went into their games with Barnsley as outsiders, while Brentford went in as the favourites against Bournemouth. Brentford lost their first leg 1-0 however, before coming roaring back in the second leg to win 3-1. Swansea were very solid, but they barely created anything and were lucky to score twice over two legs. They managed to stop Barnsley and their tactics worked which is a credit to them, but they only managed xG figures of 0.34 and 0.28 themselves.

There’s no doubt Brentford have more class than Swansea. They are also playing better football too, they were unlucky to lose the first leg against Bournemouth with the game finishing 1.87 to 1.06 on xG to Brentford. They then hammered Bournemouth in the second leg with an xG of 3.12. Prior to the Playoffs, they were recording xG figures like 2.28, 1.85, 1.68 and 2.63. They have finished the season really strongly, and I can’t see past them today.

Brentford are a very tempting Max Bet at 1.93, however what is holding me back from a Max Bet is the amount of times Brentford have come up short in the Playoffs. They always find a way somehow to end up failing to reach the Premier League. In my opinion they’ll never get a better chance here though, and they can put all their Playoff woes behind them with a win here. They strike me as a side who will do well in the Premier League and stay in it, rather than go up and just come back down. Brentford are a confident bet, but just not a Max Bet!
