NORWICH V MANCHESTER UNITED

5.30pm The FA Cup returns on Saturday evening and we kick off the Quarter Finals with Norwich hosting Manchester United! This is a tale of two different sides since returning from lockdown. Norwich have returned in poor form, not yet creating an xG of over 1 per game, while United have returned in flying form. They were the better side in the draw against Spurs and battered Sheffield United midweek.

It’s hard to fully know what side Solskjaer will name here given that United won’t have fully given up on the Top Four race and they are also still in the Europa League which is to come at a later date. Solskjaer might see this fixture as a chance to rest players, but it’s also a good chance for United to win a trophy and he won’t want to give that up against a side like Norwich.

Norwich have been very poor this season and are adrift at the bottom of the Premier League table. They are conceded an xG of two goals per game at the moment and United’s away figures are impressive. They are creating an xG of two goals per game away from home and were very impressive against Sheffield United. The squad additions have really made an impact and United can continue winning ways here. They were a comfortable bet at 1.48 midweek against Sheffield United and they are worth backing again here at 1.46.
