TOTTENHAM V CHELSEA

7.45pm We have a cracking fixture to start the Fourth Round of the Carabao Cup on Sky Sports on Tuesday! Both sides were involved in dramatic draws in the Premier League at the weekend, and although we’re very likely to see plenty of changes to the starting XI’s, we should still have a very competitive London Derby.

Jose Mourinho will want to put Sunday afternoon behind him as quickly as possible, even Steve Bruce came out after and said the handball decision was a farce and Newcastle benefited from it! Chelsea also could only manage a point at the weekend, and although that was dramatic too, it was a different kind of dramatic. They went 3-0 down against West Brom and pulled it back.

It’s hard to know what to make of Chelsea. They spent big in the summer, but they made massive mistakes at the back again the weekend. After all that money spent, they’re probably the same team as last season; good going forward, bad at the back.

Obviously it’s very important to keep an eye on the team sheets here. It could have a huge impact on the prices but on balance I like the Chelsea lay at 2.1. Jose usually doesn’t change his whole XI and surely he must see this as a good chance to win a trophy. This competition and the FA Cup are probably Spurs only chance of a trophy this season. Chelsea make too many mistakes at the back for me and I expect a closer game than odds of 2.1 suggest, from a value point of view they look a nice lay.

The Striker Says:
Two points lay (liability) Chelsea to beat Tottenham at 2.1 with BETDAQ Exchange.
