NORTH MACEDONIA V NETHERLANDS

5pm We have another fantastic week ahead at Euro 2020 and what a way to start the week! We have a massive day with the final days in Group C at 5pm and Group B at 8pm. Don’t forget all matches are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange too. We start the day with what should be the most straightforward game of the day. The Netherlands have been excellent so far winning both of their games – they were particularly impressive winning 2-0 against Austria last time out. North Macedonia have tried their best to be fair to them but they have come up short against Austria and Ukraine. It was nice to land some big bets on Austria and Ukraine as the odds on offer were fantastic, however Netherlands are trading short here at 1.35. Netherlands have a good goal difference in Group C, and this could be a chance to rest players.

I fully expect the Netherlands to win, but I’m happy to pass on the 1.35. They are definitely one for BETDAQ Multiples though. As I said above, I wouldn’t be surprise if they choose to rest players here and make sure to keep an eye on the team news. Group C has saw a lot of goals so far, and North Macedonia have been a part of that too. They have managed to score against Austria and Ukraine – they created an xG of 1.51 against Ukraine which was pretty good. You can see they are playing above their level looking at the xG figures – they have conceded 2.46 against Austria and then 3.66 against Ukraine. Given Netherlands like to play an open and attacking game, I’m surprised to see over 2.5 goals as big as 1.65 here. That looks massive, especially considering North Macedonia haven’t sat back and the Netherlands have a few issues at the back too. This one is a confident bet.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.65 with BETDAQ Exchange..

UKRAINE V AUSTRIA

5pm A massive game. But you might “double take” when you first click into the market! The draw is trading as short as 2.05! That’s always a little hard to believe, but this is one of those classic tournament examples where a draw will suit both sides. Given the nature of the third place rankings, four points will almost certainly get through to the Knockouts so now we have a situation where neither side have to go for it. What a game it could have been a few years ago before the third place rankings came in with both sides on three points each after losing the Netherlands and beating North Macedonia. This obviously makes judging this game a little tricky – what sort of tempo will we have? Will both sides be happy with a 0-0? And then, if someone scores they’re hardly going to let the other team score! I’m obviously not going to back the draw at 2.05, but 0-0 is definitely of interest at 5.0 for example.

Both sides have performed very much the same way so far in their games. They created a lot against North Macedonia and struggled against the Netherlands. Ukraine managed to score twice against the Netherlands and give them a little scare, but Netherlands were much the better side and unlucky to concede twice. Given the situation in the Group, and also the odds in the match odds market – this has to be a game for small stakes. I’m sure the draw price will be a huge talking points – every football punter who fancies either side will be getting excellent value in their view. I feel this will be a very low tempo game and I’m going to play the odds here. 0-0 in the Correct Score market is 5.0 and when you compare that to the draw price I feel it’s a nice bet.

The Ultra Says:
One point win 0-0 Correct Score at 5.0 with BETDAQ Exchange..

FINLAND V BELGIUM

8pm Next we move to Group B. Unlike Group C, we have some fascinating situations with the two sides on three points thankfully not playing each other. Finland, unfortunately for them, have to play Belgium though and that obviously leaves them in a very difficult situation. A draw might be enough for Russia in the other game, but they have to play Denmark. It should be a fascinating night! The market is expecting a comfortable Belgium win as they trade 1.35 at the time of writing. They found themselves in a bit of trouble 1-0 down at HT against Denmark, but Kevin De Bruyne came on and completely changed the game. They assisted and then scored the winner – if he can stay fit they have an excellent chance of winning the tournament. He can change a game so quickly. I thought Finland could get a result against Russia and in fairness it was a very level game – they didn’t create much and that’s an obvious problem for them.

Finland would be happy with a draw here and their main tactics are usually to defend anyway, so I can see Belgium having a lot of the ball here and it’s just a case of what can they do with it. If Belgium score early and Finland try to attack then we could see a big score line, but Belgium aren’t under pressure here given they have won their opening two games. De Bruyne will likely get more game time, but not start. They could choose to rest some other players too ahead of some big games. Over 2.5 goals is worth backing in my opinion at 1.91 – Finland have barely created anything so far and I can’t see that changing, and while Belgium have a lot of attacking talent, I feel they will have to work very hard for their goals here and I’d have unders shorter.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.91 with BETDAQ Exchange..

RUSSIA V DENMARK

8pm Another huge game! I have to say Denmark have been so unlucky in Euro 2020 that I hope they can win and get through to the Knockouts. Things are very finely balanced in Group B so they have just as good a chance as Russia and Finland. The other game has to go their way, but they will be confident of beating Russia. Denmark have had to suffer the emotional shock of what happened to Christian Eriksen, but then they played very well against Belgium and got undone by some Kevin De Bruyne magic. They created an xG of 1.99 and absolutely bossed the first half. In fairness, De Bruyne changed the game when he came on and star players do that, and Denmark should have put the game to bed in the first half. Such fine margins at the top level. Added to the Belgium game, they now regret playing the second half against Finland where they lost 1-0 and now they are in a very difficult spot.

The good news for Denmark fans, and I’m sure a lot of football fans after what happened in their first game, is that Russia are a very average side and they are there for the taking. Russia were made look very bad by Belgium, but they barely created anything in a very close and quiet affair with Finland. Russia only need a draw here and obviously they are going to play a very cagey game. They are limited going forward anyway, and putting XI behind the ball suits them. Denmark have the quality to work their way through this Russia defence though. I’m happy to keep stakes at the medium level, but Denmark look good value at 1.74 to beat a very average Russia side. They deserve a bit of luck in the tournament, but they won’t need luck – they just have to play like they have been and they will win.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Denmark to beat Russia at 1.74 with BETDAQ Exchange..
