CZECH REPUBLIC V DENMARK
5pm It’s the day all England fans have been waiting for at Euro 2020, but we kick off the evening with the Czech Republic taking to Denmark to see who England could possibly meet in the Semi-Final. All matches are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Czech Republic benefitted from the Netherlands having a man sent off in their Last 16 game – it was 0-0 at the time and completely changed the game. That being said, Czech Republic were performing better than expected before the red card. Looking at their performances in the Group stage, it looked like they were there for the taking. They had created very limited chances, and even conceded an xG of 2.29 to Scotland. We all know what happened to Denmark in their Group, but it was great to see them pull through on the final day. They hammered Wales 4-0, and when you look at their underlining numbers they have been quietly impressive in the tournament to date.
Denmark performed very well against Belgium too, they just got undone by an excellent second half performance by Kevin de Bruyne which can happen any side. I have to say on paper everything points to a Denmark win here, and I’m very surprised they aren’t odds on favourites. The 2.12 looks incredible value looking at their xG figures, and they should be able to deal with this average Czech Republic side. The Czech Republic look like they can grind out results, but they don’t do anything flashy and I don’t see them creating enough to cope with this Denmark side. My worry is a boring draw, however the 2.12 offers so much value that it has to be a Max Bet for me at the odds. Denmark are definitely the dark horses in this tournament looking at their performances and they also have a superb chance to reach the Semi-Final here. They should beat Czech Republic.

UKRAINE V ENGLAND
8pm Is Football Coming Home? It certainly looked at way at Wembley when England were finally able to beat Germany. They have had so many disappointing moments against Germany, and that result might just give this young side the belief that they can win the tournament. There’s no getting away from the fact that the draw has worked out incredibly well for them. They should be able to beat this average Ukraine side and then they face a Semi-Final against either Czech Republic or Denmark – two sides they will be odds on to beat too. It’s no wonder England are now odds on to reach the final – where they will have their toughest test looking at the other side of the draw! This England side has an incredible amount of talent going forward, and they can beat anyone on their day so it’s exciting times for England fans. They had question marks at the back coming into the tournament, but they have kept four clean sheets now; although Germany did create an xG of 1.33 (the highest figure England have conceded so far at Euro 2020).
I wasn’t too surprised to see Sweden and Ukraine draw in the last 16. They both looked pretty average in the Group stage, I felt Sweden would get the job done but credit to Ukraine, they played marginally the better football and deserved to win after Extra Time. That performance doesn’t change much for me however, Sweden looked like an average side and they conceded a host of chances in the Group stage. Ukraine really struggled against Austria and Netherlands – England are on a completely different level to Ukraine and should really get the job done. We could aim for under 2.5 goals here or England to keep a clean sheet given how good they have been, but I’m happy to keep things simple and go for the England win here. There’s a huge gulf in class between the sides here, and England are good value at 1.45.
