NETHERLANDS V CZECH REPUBLIC

5pm What a Super Sunday at Euro 2020 we have in store! All eyes will be on Belgium v Portugal later, but we start the action with the Netherlands against the Czech Republic. All matches are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! Netherlands sailed through Group C with three wins from three games. Not only that but they did so in very impressive fashion. Their xG figures were 2.07 against Ukraine, 3.53 against Austria and 3.41 against North Macedonia. Although they have been excellent going forward, they do have some issues at the back. North Macedonia didn’t score, but they created an xG of 1.39 and Ukraine scored twice from nowhere too. I can see that costing them eventually in the tournament, but they are unlikely to suffer at the back here. The Czech Republic finished third in England’s Group after they managed to beat Scotland and draw with Croatia. Apart from the Scotland game, Croatia haven’t looked themselves and Czech Republic were very lucky to beat Scotland – they conceded an xG of 2.29.

Considering all the chances that the Czech Republic have given away and how dangerous the Netherlands are going forward, the Netherlands look massive here at 1.72. As we get deeper into the tournament, I would worry about them at the back – they do have issues. Their games tend to have a lot of goals and I’m sure there will be a lot of interest in over 2.5 goals at 1.95 which looks good value too. I can’t get away from the Netherlands here though at 1.72 – I believe if over 2.5 goals wins that the Netherlands will have to do most of the work too. Czech Republic are a reasonably solid side, but nothing more – they are an average side and they don’t have much attacking flair. I’m surprised the Netherlands are so big at 1.72 – they are in great form and everything points to a win here. They have to be a Max Bet for me at 1.72.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win Netherlands to beat Czech Republic at 1.72 BETDAQ Exchange..

BELGIUM V PORTUGAL

8pm No doubt the eyes of the world will be on this fixture, it’s one of the highlights from the Last 16! Belgium come into the game having won all three of their Group B games but it wasn’t without drama. They were very poor in the first half against Denmark, and were “lucky” to win 2-1. I say “lucky” because Denmark should have put the game to bed in the first half, but Kevin De Bruyne turned it around with a brilliant second half performance. They will need him today, as will Portugal need Cristiano Ronaldo who has been in excellent form. Portugal have been involved in a lot of games with high scoring and plenty of action. Over 2.5 goals has won in all three, although backers had to wait a while to collect in the Hungary game! The 4-2 loss against Germany was a setback, but they actually played very well against France.

For me it’s all about the prices. Portugal are an impressive side, there’s no doubt about that. However, Belgium look the value at 2.54. I expected them to be shorter, overall they have a stronger side than Portugal and I would expect them to come out on top in a close game. Portugal have made a lot more mistakes at the back compared to Belgium, but of course you could say they have played a lot tougher opposition too. A fascinating game awaits, but for me a relatively small bet on Belgium is the best option here. My main worry about Belgium is they have sometimes fluffed their lines under pressure in big games, so I’m happy to keep stakes limited. Portugal will be tough to beat, but the 2.54 is too big to ignore.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Belgium to beat Portugal at 2.54 BETDAQ Exchange..
