EURO 2020 TUESDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews the games between ENGLAND v GERMANY and SWEDEN v UKRAINE both with recommended BETDAQ 0% COMMISSION bets.
ENGLAND V GERMANY
5pm This is the fixture we have all been waiting for and what a day to finish the Last 16 at Euro 2020! All matches are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange, and we kick off the action with England against Germany in a blockbuster fixture. Hungary produced the shock of the tournament betting wise when they managed a draw with Germany in the last round of Group fixtures – Germany started the game at 1.18! It’s fair to say that both these sides could be described as “underwhelming” in the tournament so far. England look hard to beat, but they haven’t produced any attacking flair yet and they are already getting stick from the domestic media. Scotland played well and took the headlines, but looking at the xG figures England created the better chances. They controlled both the games against Croatia and Czech Republic – they gave away very few chances and it will be very interesting to see can they control this German side.
Germany should have beaten Hungary, but it has to be a worry that they have conceded five goals in their three games. I know they scored four against Portugal, but they do have some issues at the back. Perhaps it was France being so good at the back, but they Germany a lot of the ball and the Germans created little in the second half – the only thing that caught my eye in the second half was how slow the Germany defence looked against France. That’s definitely something England can benefit from here. Obviously having home advantage is a huge position for England, and if I was having a bet in the match odds market I would go with them at 2.62 for a small bet. Despite Germany having lots of goals in their last two games, I like under 2.5 goals here at 1.8. It’s hard to see anything bar a cagey game here – England have been rock solid at the back and I’d expect that to continue. Having home advantage helps them a lot here in that regard and we could easily see another 1-0 England win, or even Extra Time after 0-0 or 1-1.

Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.8 with BETDAQ Exchange..

SWEDEN V UKRAINE
8pm It’s fair to say that most football fans outside of Sweden and Ukraine will be underwhelmed by this fixture after seeing England v Germany! Although you never know, maybe this will be a most entertaining game. We have another very open market here, and for me Sweden are worth backing at 2.48. I wouldn’t be a huge fan of Sweden looking at their xG figures, but Ukraine lost two of their three Groups games and I would have Sweden shorter here – for a value point of view the 2.48 is too big to ignore. Ukraine were totally outplayed by Austria in their final Group game when we saw the draw price start close to evens as both sides needed a draw. Austria scored in the first half and controlled the game from there, the xG figures finished 1.94 to 0.36 to Austria. Even in the North Macedonia win, Ukraine conceded an xG of 1.51 and they were lucky to score twice against the Netherlands – they nearly stole a draw.
Sweden have been lucky with their results in the Group stages, there’s no doubt about that. They conceded an xG of 2.89 against Spain in their 1-1 draw and Poland should have got something from their final Group game. They missed some massive chances and Sweden scored the winner in injury time for 3-2. My bet here on Sweden is from the point of view that Ukraine are a very poor side. I know Sweden concede a lot of chances, but I don’t see Ukraine taking advantage of that. I’m happy to keep stakes reasonably small, because Sweden do have their own issues, and maybe we’ll see something crazy like a 3-3 here – however on balance it’s hard to get away from the 2.48 looking the Ukraine fixtures. They are there for the beating.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Sweden to beat Ukraine at 2.48 with BETDAQ Exchange..
