FRIDAY EUROPA LEAGUE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between KOLN v AUGSBURG and MALLORCA v CELTA VIGO both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

KOLN V AUGSBURG

7.30pm It’s been a fantastic week of European football with the final Matchday’s in the Champions League and Europa League, but it’s also good to get back to our usual Friday night football on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with one game from the Bundesliga and one from La Liga. We start in the Bundesliga with Koln hosting Augsburg. Koln had a very strong start to the season, but a build-up of draws has seen them slide down the table a little. They won’t be unhappy though considering they were in a relegation fight last season and ended up in the relegation playoff spot. They’ve only lost three games this season, and two of those came against Bayern Munich and Dortmund. Their worst day of the season was clearly the 5-0 loss to Hoffenheim, but other than that they have been pretty solid. They have been a little unlucky with their draws recently in fairness to them – they finished with a higher xG against Bayer Leverkusen, Union Berlin, Mainz and Arminia Bielefeld.

This is a good chance for Koln to get back to winning ways, although in between their draws they did beat Gladbach 4-1! Augsburg come into the game under immense pressure as they currently sit in the relegation playoff and they are just three points ahead of Arminia Bielefeld in the bottom two. To be honest there is nothing between 14th and 17th, so one win could really shoot you up the table – the only one nailed to bottom is Greuther Furth who just aren’t good enough for the Bundesliga. Augsburg were very unlucky to lose their last fixture against Bochum, finishing the game with an xG of 3.33. In general they have been creating some decent chances, and even shocked Bayern Munich recently! I feel we’ll have an open game here, and while Koln have been playing good football and are a tempting bet to win, over 2.5 goals jumps off the page here at 1.69. This is going to be an open game full of chances, overs is a confident bet.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.69 with BETDAQ Exchange.

MALLORCA V CELTA VIGO

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish Friday night football as Mallorca host Celta Vigo. Mallorca will be delighted with their start to life in La Liga and they sit safely up in mid-table at the moment, there’s enough sides between themselves and the relegation zone to not really worry, and I’m sure they are delighted with that. They will have to keep their focus, especially for next season too – looking at Cadiz is a good example of how quickly things can go wrong after a fast and confident start. Celta Vigo are far too good to go down, but you wouldn’t actually rule them out of the relegation fight at the moment looking at the table. There are a lot of sides close together on points in the area from 13th down – there’s only four points between Celta Vigo and Cadiz who sit in the bottom three. A couple of losses coming up to the Christmas period and other results going against them could see Celta Vigo under pressure. They won’t go down though.

Mallorca come into this fixture on a high after beating Atletico Madrid last weekend. They didn’t deserve to win looking at the xG figures – the game finished 2.31 to 0.88 to Atletico – but what a boost for the club to win a fixture like that away from home. It probably highlights how much Atletico have struggled this season, but it’s massive for Mallorca nonetheless. Although they went into that game off the back of a winless run, they had actually been playing decent football. They created an xG of 2.87 here against Elche, and finished with an xG of 2.21 to Sevilla in a game they could have easily won here. They have performed well at home, and that spells trouble for Celta Vigo tonight. Celta Vigo have had their unlucky performances recently too – they should have beaten Barcelona, finishing with double their xG of Barcelona and they were unlucky to lose against Real Sociedad recently too. Looking at the xG figures, we have two sides who like to attack and although we have an open market in the match odds, I feel this fixture screams goals. Over 2.5 goals is 2.44 and that looks cracking value in what should be an open game.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.44 with BETDAQ Exchange.
