THE ULTRA ON FRIDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Friday’s games between HOFFENHEIM v STUTTGART and LEVANTE v ELCHE both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

HOFFENHEIM V STUTTGART

7.30pm It’s been a hectic week all around Europe with the Champions League and the Europa League, and we roll straight into another very busy weekend on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have our usual slot for Friday night football as we have one game from the Bundesliga and one from La Liga. We have two massive games tonight when you look at the tables, and we start the evening in the Bundesliga with Hoffenheim hosting Stuttgart. This game is huge for both sides for different reasons, with Hoffenheim still battling for a top four finish and Stuttgart fighting to stay in the Bundesliga as they sit in the relegation zone. As the weeks go by things are getting more desperate for Stuttgart – at the moment they are three points behind Augsburg who are in the relegation playoff spot and then they are four points behind Hertha Berlin in 15th. They basically need to start winning games fast, and at the same time hope Ausgburg and Hertha Berlin keep losing games as Arminia Bielefeld have picked up plenty of points recently.

Hoffenheim will see this as an ideal opportunity to rack up another three points and overtake RB Leipzig for the time being. They went on a poor run with just one win from six games just when RB Leipzig started to pick up great momentum and go past them. Although they have bounced back to win their last two games, you have to say that RB Leipzig have the momentum and they are playing the better football too. Although they have equal points, Hoffenheim have more work to do in my opinion. The good news for Hoffenheim fans is that Stuttgart have been shipping goals for fun recently – they have conceded 12 goals in their last five games, and an average of 1.9 per game in the Bundesliga this season. You aren’t going to win many games conceding two goals per game. When you look at the Hoffenheim stats, you can see that they are scoring two goals per game and I feel everything just lines up for a Hoffenheim win here. They are worth backing at 1.59 to beat this average Stuttgart side – when you look at the stats there’s only one winner here, Hoffenheim will get loads of chances from Stuttgart and that will win the game.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Hoffenheim to beat Stuttgart at 1.59 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

LEVANTE V ELCHE

8pm Next we move to La Liga as Levante host Elche. A month or so ago, this would have been a relegation six pointer but Elche have really put distance between themselves and the bottom three this year. Their decent run of form starts back at the end of November, but they have won four of their seven games since the new year and they have had to play Real Madrid and Sevilla in that run too. I’m sure the average casual football fan will pass over this fixture, but I have to say I find it fascinating from a betting point of view. Many punters might be surprised to see Levante such heavy favourites given that they are nailed to the bottom of the table, but regular readers will know just how unlucky they are to be there and that they are playing much better football than their place in the table suggests. They are adrift at the bottom of the table, but the La Liga xG table puts them into 12th – that’s quite the difference and you can start to understand why Levante are trading 2.08 here. That being said, I feel that’s a very short price for a side who have only won twice all season. I know they are playing better than their results suggest, but I still feel that it’s too short. They clearly aren’t taking their chances up front and that issue will probably continue all season.

Elche arrive into this fixture in good form too. They put Rayo Vallecano to the sword last week, didn’t play too badly away to Sevilla and while they were lucky to beat Villarreal and draw with Real Madrid you have to give them some credit for grinding out results when the other side bossed the game. With Levante struggling to score goals – they are scoring an average of one per game and conceding two – I can see Elche staying solid at the back here, and then with Levante giving away chances that gives Elche an excellent chance of winning. I have to say that the Elche win is a very tempting bet at 4.1 and I couldn’t put anyone off, however I feel Levante are too short here at 2.08 and that is the value call. It’s nice to have the draw on our side, and I feel the odds are so short it deserves a Max Bet. I can only see a very close game here with Elche possibly even winning but the Levante lay jumps off the page.

The Ultra Says:
Five points lay (liability) Levante to beat Elche at 2.08 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
