THE BUNDESLIGA IS BACK: The Ultra previews Friday’s Bundesliga clash between EINTRACHT FRANKFURT V BAYERN MUNICH with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

EINTRACHT FRANKFURT v BAYERN MUNICH

7.30pm European football returns on Friday night on BETDAQ Betting Exchange with the Bundesliga! We have to wait another week for La Liga and Serie A, but Ligue 1 also joins the Bundesliga in returning this weekend. We kick it off with the German Champions Bayern Munich traveling to take on Eintracht Frankfurt. Bayern continue to dominate in Germany, and it’s hard to see that changing any time soon. The way things are at the moment, you can see them winning a crazy amount of titles in a row – something like we have never seen before.

I have to say the Bundesliga has suffered a blow coming into the new season. Dortmund lost Erling Haaland, which was always very likely to happen, but then also Bayern Munich lost Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona. Quite what is going on with Barcelona being “broke” yet buying all these players is anyone’s guess, but it is a loss to the Bundesliga. It’s not hard to understand where Lewandowski was coming from though – he has basically achieved everything he could at Bayern Munich and where does he go from here? Bayern will win the title again, but where’s the challenge?

That’s why I was frustrated to see RB Leipzig sell their best players, just when they were starting to challenge for the title and produced a great run in the Champions League too. They went massively backwards last season, and it’s hard to see Dortmund challenging for the title without Haaland either. The Bundesliga could really be over by Christmas – it could be like PSG in France!

Eintracht Frankfurt had a very strange season in 2021/22. They fell all the way down to 11th place, and they started very slow. If they start slow here they will get hammered! That was a huge fall for Frankfurt given they finished in 5th in the 2020/21 season and were challenging for a Champions League spot right up to the final day of the season. When you look at Frankfurt over the last few years, they have been a very up and down club and it’s hard to see anything bar a comfortable Bayern win here.

When I clicked into the market I was surprised to see Bayern trading as high as 1.47 and I just can’t get away from that here. It is tempting to look at the handicap markets or the goal markets here, but I don’t see a better value bet than Bayern winning. They are levels above everyone in Germany now and they are going to have a very successful season too. Obviously they start life without their top goal scorer Lewandowski but they create so many chances someone will just take his place very quickly. Bayern all the way for me here; at the odds they are worth the first Max Bet of the season. We are back with a bang!

The Ultra Says:
