LA LIGA MONDAY Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s La Liga clash between BARCELONA v GRANADA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BARCELONA V GRANADA

8pm Monday night football on BETDAQ Betting Exchange comes from La Liga this week as Barcelona host Granada. I know Barcelona have a couple of games in hand now as their fixture against Sevilla was pushed back last weekend, but when you look at the league table you still feel they are under a little bit of pressure. Perhaps it’s the Messi effect and having less confidence in them winning games at the moment. The market is confident of a Barcelona win here however as they are trading 1.31 at the time of writing.

They should have no trouble beating Granada who have started the season poorly, however the 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League is a big eye-opener for the club. Having had to let some of their star players go because of financial issues, it really does highlight the fact they probably can’t live with the top sides anymore. They were totally outplayed by Bayern, conceding an xG of 2.77 and creating just 0.20. That isn’t like Barcelona – I know Bayern also hammered them in the Champions League the last time the sides met, but creating an xG of just 0.20 is very worrying going forward.

I’m looking forward to seeing how Barcelona play when they meet Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid, but for the time being they should be beating sides like Granada. The goals market might be interesting here, as Barcelona only created an xG of 1.01 against Bilbao and then 1.24 at home to Getafe. I assume Granada will set up to defend, and if they’re going to have any chance they will have to employ those tactics as they have given away too many chances this season.

Granada have conceded xG figures of 1.45, 1.79, 2.41 and 2.57 so far this season, and they haven’t played any of the top sides either. That’s a very poor start and although they managed two draws from four games, they were very lucky to do so. Not only that, but they haven’t created much in front of goal – their xG figures read 0.33, 0.98, 0.78 and 0.88. I like the idea of backing unders because Barcelona are creating a huge amount, but obviously I am worried looking at the Granada figures! I feel Barcelona can keep a clean sheet here, and Both Teams Not To Score is worth backing at around 1.98 – this could be a very dull game, which isn’t something you usually say about Barcelona games but times have changed!

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.98 with BETDAQ Exchange.
