LA LIGA MONDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Monday’s game between LEVANTE v VALENCIA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm It’s been quite a dramatic week around Europe with new Covid19 outbreaks, particularly the Premier League which was heavily hit the weekend. There will be a number of issues with their Boxing Days fixtures, but we have La Liga fixtures to enjoy this week before they go on their Christmas Break. The break for leagues like La Liga and the Bundesliga should be very helpful for Covid19, and I’m sure we’ll see a lot of issues in the Premier League with such a busy fixture list coming up!

We only have one fixture to enjoy on Monday Night Football on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! as Levante host Valencia. I have to say I am delighted to see Valencia doing well this season. They went through a lot of changes prior to last season, they put themselves in a tricky position for that season but they have come through the other side now. They are going to have to do a huge amount of work to reach the Europa League spots, but they are in the mix. They will be hoping the likes of Rayo Vallecano drop out of the top six, but let’s not forget that Barcelona started the weekend behind them in the table so there’s danger behind as well as ahead!

It’s been a different story for Levante unfortunately. They sit nailed to the bottom of the table, and it looks like they are nailed on to go down too. They were already four points adrift before the weekend and while Getafe and Cadiz might believe they can stay up – it’s hard to see how Levante bridge the gap and also go by. For example, not only are they four points away from anyone else, they started the weekend seven points behind 15th with the bottom five having all played the same amount of games. They are in big trouble, and morale must be rock bottom given they haven’t won a La Liga game yet this season.

I’m confident on the Valencia win here. However, there are some thing to consider when we decide the stake. There are two factors that make me reduce stakes a little here. The first is that while Levante have been poor, they haven’t been as bad as the table suggests. They will go down, but they aren’t a basket case that just can’t play football at all – they will argue that they have been unlucky, and the xG table puts them out of the bottom three. Secondly, while they haven’t won a game this season, they have drawn eight. If you backed against them this season, you’d win nine and lose eight – so it’s not just that simple. The main reason I’m happy to back Valencia here is the odds, I felt Valencia would be clear favourites here but we actually have a very open market. They arrive into the fixture is good form, on an unbeaten run, and the 2.7 can’t be ignored. Three points feels the right stake.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Valencia to beat Levante at 2.7 with BETDAQ Exchange.
