SATURDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s Bundelisga and La Liga games between BAYERN MUNICH V HERTHA BERLIN, ELCHE V SEVILLA and REAL BETIS V REAL MADRID all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BAYERN MUNICH V HERTHA BERLIN

5.30pm The big boys are in action in Europe today as we head into the International break next week. We have three quality games from the Bundesliga and La Liga to preview, and all football bets are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange on Saturday! We start in the evening with Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich hosting Hertha Berlin. Bayern have already dropped points this season as they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Gladbach, however it’s been a crazy start to the Bundesliga this season as only Wolfsburg won their opening two games! Dortmund and RB Leipzig will be kicking themselves as they dropped points against pretty weak sides, and they simply can’t afford to do that if they are going to get close to Bayern this season.

Hertha Berlin spent a lot of time in the relegation zone last season, but they had major issues with Covid19 in their side. They couldn’t play for a while, and when they came back they must have been under a huge amount of pressure. Yes, they had the games in hand – but they had to go out and win them. They finished the season strongly, and ended up in 14th two points away from Koln in 16th in the relegation playoff. Although Hertha are a likeable side, there’s no getting away from the fact that they are very average and Bayern are playing at a completely different level. Hertha have started the season with two losses too, although granted they actually played better than the results suggest looking at the xG figures. The market is expecting an easy Bayern win here as they are trading 1.2, but with Hertha giving up so many chances Bayern Munich/Bayern Munich Half-Time/Full-Time looks the value call at 1.6.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Bayern Munich/Bayern Munich Half-Time/Full-Time at 1.6 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ELCHE V SEVILLA

6.30pm Next we move to La Liga where we have two fascinating fixtures this evening. We start with Elche hosting Sevilla and my most confident bet of the day. Sevilla look excellent value here at 1.8 or bigger. Elche were one of the sides involved in the La Liga relegation battle last season, just managing to stay up as they finished in 17th. To their credit, they actually finished very strongly under pressure to win their final two games to get out of the relegation zone. They were possibly lucky with the fixture list as they played two sides who had nothing to play for. They have started with a 0-0 draw against Bilbao and lost 1-0 to Atletico, but they haven’t created much going forward. They meet an in-form Sevilla side here and I’m surprised to see Sevilla trading 1.8.

Sevilla have started the season very positively, and their win over Getafe on Monday night was textbook. I felt they were too big for that game but we might see bigger in-running. We definitely did as they had to wait until the 93rd minute to find a goal! Classic Sevilla however, starting slow and finishing the second half strongly. I would expect more of the same here. Elche did manage to beat Sevilla here last season, but Sevilla look very strong at the start of the season and Elche are a very average side. As you would imagine for a side to finish where they did, they created less than a goal per game and conceded nearly two on xG. This should be a smooth win for Sevilla.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Sevilla to beat Elche at 1.8 with BETDAQ Exchange.

REAL BETIS V REAL MADRID

9pm We finish the day with another fascinating market. Real Madrid had to settle for a 3-3 draw last weekend away to levante and they probably face a tougher test here. Real Betis are always a tough nut to crack – especially recently as they made huge improvement last season to finish in the top six. Remarkable when you think they finished in 15th the season prior. They have started their season with two 1-1 draws against Mallorca and Cadiz – perhaps a little unlucky not to win as they finished with a higher xG twice but they were two pretty even games. The three goals Real Madrid conceded against Levante shows they clearly still have issues at the back, but again they were impressive going forward – it’s the same Real Madrid then!

I wouldn’t be surprised to see some very strong opinions on the Real Madrid price here, both on the lay side and back side of the book. In my view, the 1.88 is too big and is worth backing. Real Betis have grinded in their first two fixtures, but they haven’t created much. I know Real Madrid do have issues at the back, but I feel they will “get away with it” against this Betis side. Real Madrid are still likely to create a lot going forward, and that’s why I feel the 1.88 is too big. Sevilla and Real Madrid would actually make a good double this evening in my view. We saw a 3-2 win for Real here last season and given the way they are going forward and defending, I wouldn’t rule out overs landing here. I couldn’t put anyone off over 2.5 goals at 1.7 but Real Madrid look the value call at 1.88.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Madrid to beat Real Betis at 1.88 with BETDAQ Exchange.
