BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA SATURDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between BAYERN MUNICH v BOCHUM, ATLETICO MADRID v ATHLETIC BILBAO and KOLN v RB LEIPZIG all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BAYERN MUNICH V BOCHUM

2.30pm We’re all set for another fantastic Saturday in Europe and all football bets are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We start the day with Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich hosting new boys Bochum. It was great to land a Max Bet on Bayern midweek in the Champions League at odds against at Barcelona, but we won’t get value like that here as Bayern are trading as short as 1.09 in the Match Odds market! That’s the shortest price of any club side this weekend in a major league. Fair to say the market is expecting an easy home win then. We have already landed two Max Bets on Bayern this season with them beating RB Leipzig easily last weekend too, also at odds against, so hopefully we can start the day with another Bayern winner.

We’ll have to focus on the side markets for today with Bayern trading so short. It’s all about how many goals the Bundesliga Champions can score, and judging by the amount of chances they have been creating at the start of the season I would suggest a lot! They have created xG figures of 3.13, 2.5, 3.1, 3.87 and 2.77 in their games thus far, and they won 12-0 (yes 12-0, not a typo!) in the domestic Cup too. Their performance midweek against Barcelona was excellent, and they should be able to score four or more goals here. Bochum are obviously new to the Bundesliga so we are still learning about them, but they have conceded quite a few chances already. They gave away 2.64 to Wolfsburg and 2.98 to Koln in their two away games, and when you think about how far ahead Bayern are then it spells trouble for Bochum. Any Other Home Win (Bayern to score four or more and win) is 1.8 in the Correct Score market and that looks cracking value.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Any Other Home Win at 1.8 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ATLETICO MADRID V ATHLETIC BILBAO

3.15pm Next we move to La Liga with the Spanish Champions in action as Atletico Madrid host Athletic Bilbao. Atletico will know how important a strong start to the league is having taken such a big lead at the start of last season only to be holding on in the final weeks. They start the weekend level with Real Madrid and three points ahead of Barcelona, but only because Barcelona have played a game less. If they want to hold onto their title, they have to win games like this. Bilbao have made a strong start to the season too however and are unbeaten in their four games. They’ve had to play Barcelona and actually finished that game with a high xG – you could argue they deserved to win with an xG of 1.93 to 1.01 after their 1-1 draw. They were impressive against Mallorca and Celta Vigo; but obviously we have to remember that this is a different level here.

Atletico would have been very disappointed with their 0-0 draw against Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday – they only created an xG of 0.37 and had home advantage. That was a worrying performance because they conceded an xG of 1.87 in a very unlike Atletico display! They had been performing well in La Liga prior and I’m not sure where that performance came from. That would make me think twice before backing a home win at 1.7 because Bilbao have been rock solid. Looking at the xG figures, neither side is creating a huge amount – they have both been grinding out games. I expect a pretty cagey affair here and under 2.5 goals looks overpriced at 1.65. It’s hard to see anything but a close game here and I expect very few chances in front of goal.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.65 with BETDAQ Exchange.

KOLN V RB LEIPZIG

5.30pm We move back to the Bundesliga to finish the day with Koln hosting RB Leipzig. It’s been an awful start to the season for RB Leipzig, and an awful week. They were hammered by Bayern Munich last weekend and then hammered by Manchester City midweek in the Champions League. The only have three points from four games in the Bundesliga and given they sold some of their best talent to Bayern Munich it’s fair to say their title challenge is already over. That’s dramatic so early, but it’s pretty factual given the situation in Germany. As I said last week, it doesn’t sit right with me that Bayern can buy the top talent from the challengers in the Bundesliga. Regardless of that, Leipzig need a win to turn things around and unfortunately for them they face a Koln side full of confidence.

Koln will be delighted to sit in the top half of the table with seven points from four games. They came close to drawing with Bayern Munich too in the game they lost. They played well against Freiburg last weekend and were the better side in a 1-1 draw, while they bossed the game against Bochum and beat Hertha, albeit in a close game on xG, on the opening weekend. They are full of confidence and Leipzig aren’t – I feel Leipzig are worth a small lay here at odds on. Despite losing to Bayern Munich and Man City, they also lost to Wolfsburg and Mainz this season – the 1.83 looks way too short here and it’s worth having a small investment on the lay.

The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) RB Leipzig to beat Koln at 1.83 with BETDAQ Exchange.
