BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between DORTMUND v AUGSBURG, RB LEIPZIG v BOCHUM and ATLETICO MADRID v BARCELONA all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

DORTMUND V AUGSBURG

2.30pm A fantastic Saturday in Europe awaits! I have picked out three markets to focus on, and hopefully we can land three winners with all football bets 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We start in the Bundesliga with Dortmund hosting Augsburg hoping to close the gap on Bayern Munich at the top of the table who play tomorrow. A lot of football fans felt Dortmund would really challenge Bayern for the title this season, but they are already four points behind the Champions and although they are winning, they are conceding a lot of goals. Augsburg might not be good enough to take advantage of Dortmund at the back, but that’s something they will have to sort out long-term if indeed they are even going to get close to Bayern.

Augsburg have started the season slowly with five points from their opening six games, however they were always likely to be involved in the relegation battle. They were three points away from the relegation playoff spot last season, and they will definitely be in the mix again this season. Looking at their xG figures they have some major issues going forward – they have finished games with xG figures of 0.26, 0.47, 0.19 and 0.69 within their last six fixtures, and they haven’t had a very tough fixture list either. The market can’t see past a Dortmund win here with them trading 1.26, and I feel they can cover the handicap too. The 1.62 -1.5 goals looks cracking value to start the day. Dortmund are scoring goals for fun, and Augsburg aren’t creating enough to take advantage of them at the back.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Dortmund -1.5 goals to beat Augsburg at 1.62 with BETDAQ Exchange.

RB LEIPZIG V BOCHUM

5.30pm Next we stay in the Bundesliga as RB Leipzig host Bochum. RB Leipzig are a very similar price to Dortmund in the afternoon games – Dortmund are trading 1.26 and RB Leipzig are trading 1.25 here. I have to say though, I would much prefer Dortmund in my BETDAQ Acca than RB Leipzig. I have said before that it leaves a bad taste in the mouth when Bayern Munich can raid their Bundesliga rivals after they have an excellent season, but it’s fair to say the summer transfer business has left Leipzig is a very tricky position. They just aren’t the same side as last season, or the season prior, and they are having a bad season. They started the weekend round of fixtures sitting in 10th position with just seven points from six games, and after losing 2-1 to Club Brugge midweek in the Champions League they are in a terrible position in that competition too.

Their weaknesses might not get exposed today because Bochum look like a poor side. They will definitely be involved in the relegation fight this season, but at least they have already record a win from their opening six games. They played out a very boring 0-0 with Stuttgart last weekend which in fairness they would have been happy about after losing 7-0 to Bayern Munich prior to that! I know RB Leipzig will very likely win this game, they are a better side than Bochum and will likely outclass them, but I’m happy to have a small lay on Leipzig at the odds. I feel they offer the best chance of a shock across Europe this weekend and the 1.25 is too short for me. They just haven’t fired this season, and don’t deserve to be so short given the way they have played.

The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) RB Leipzig to beat Bochum at 1.25 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ATLETICO MADRID V BARCELONA

8pm What a fixture. I am buzzing! This fixture couldn’t have come at a better time with so many questions to answer for both sides. Barcelona are still struggling to adapt to life without Messi and Atletico Madrid have started the season slowly. This game could not get any bigger for both sides. I have to say I was very surprised when I clicked into the market and saw the odds. Atletico look very short at around 2.1 as I was expecting a much more open market. I know Barcelona aren’t the same side this season and we have to accept that – I backed them to win against Cadiz recently and they let me down with a very poor performance. I reflected on that afterwards thinking I would be very careful how I back them this season; almost try and forget their old prices against sides when they had Messi.

The main reason why I’m happy to lay Atletico here at the odds is they just haven’t been great so far this season. They have actually been quite poor, and lost last weekend against Alaves – they only managed an xG of 0.75 and they have been poor in general going forward this season. In La Liga they have created xG figures of 1.73, 0.93, 1.99, 1.11, 1.29, 1.79 and 0.75 and they haven’t had a tough fixture list either – I think that’s the most disappointing thing; they should be hammering the side they have played. I know Barcelona are a limited side now and I do worry about their poor away performances, but I still feel this game will be closer than the market says, and the Atletico lay is my call. What a game to look forward to!

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Atletico Madrid to beat Barcelona at 2.1 with BETDAQ Exchange.
