LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s feature Bundesliga and Liga games with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

EINTRACHT FRANKFURT V BAYER LEVERKUSEN

2.30pm It’s great to be back for 2021 and we start with a bang as all football bets are 0% commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have a cracking day of action as the Bundesliga returns, along with Real Madrid in action in La Liga. Frankfurt v Bayer Leverkusen get us underway as Bayern Munich overtook them at the top of the table with a win before Christmas. Leverkusen have been playing excellent football and I’m surprised to see them odds against today. Frankfurt have been very average this season, and while they have been involved in a lot of draws lately they have consistently been giving up a lot of chances.

The xG conceded from Frankfurt’s last six games read; 1.45, 1.45, 2.82, 1.65, 2.06 and 1.09. When you look at the chances that Leverkusen have been creating lately, you can’t help but like them at 2.14. Leverkusen also like to play an open game, and the main worry would be a mad game packed with goals. It’s likely we’ll have an excellent end-to-end game here to be honest. Leverkusen had a slow start to the season but they have really found their scoring boots and I feel they should be odds on to outscore this Frankfurt side.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Bayer Leverkusen to beat Eintracht Frankfurt at 2.14 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

HERTHA BERLIN V SCHALKE

5.30pm Our old pals Schalke are back in action and it’s coming up to a calendar year without a win. Their last win came on the 17th of January 2020 and although we had a big break with lockdown; that run is shocking really! We caught their xG figures very early after lockdown that they were a team to oppose and have made a lot doing so. Their problems have been two-fold – they aren’t creating much at all going forward and they are also giving up a lot of chances. You aren’t going to get much results when that happens! There have been positive signs in recent weeks going forward, but they just keep conceding and are nailed to the bottom of the Bundesliga.

This is an interesting game because Hertha Berlin haven’t been impressive this season and they started the year fifth last. As much as I like taking on Schalke, I would never take on a team blindly. There has to be a calculated approach and I feel Hertha Berlin are too short at 1.72. They are that price because of the run of Schalke, but I wouldn’t feel confident backing a side performing like Hertha at 1.72. I can see this being a low quality affair and Schalke can get a draw here – it’s worth a small investment at 4.1 which looks too big.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 4.1 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

STUTTGART V RB LEIPZIG

7.30pm An excellent fixture. RB Leipzig start the year only two points off Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga and with Bayern dropping more points than usual this season, they will believe they are bang in the title race. The reality is it’s very unlikely we see anyone bar Bayern lift the title, but it would be nice to see a closer race than usual towards the end of the season. Stuttgart will be tough to beat as they are having a rock solid season. Since Freiburg beat them on the opening weekend they have only been beaten by Bayern Munich and Wolfsburg – they also beat Dortmund 5-1.

RB Leipzig have been in impressive form this season, but I like they are just marginally too short to win tonight at 1.83. There’s isn’t much in it, but I’d have them closer to 1.9 so a few ticks in the difference. Stuttgart have been scoring enough goals to give RB Leipzig problems, and the market is expecting goals too with over 2.5 goals close to 1.5. I feel the best value play is a small investment in the draw at 4.3 in what I expect to be a very close game.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 4.3 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

REAL MADRID V CELTA VIGO

8pm We move to La Liga to finish a brilliant Saturday of action. Real lost further ground at the top of the table with a 1-1 draw against Elche after they returned from their min Christmas break. They are now two points behind Atletico Madrid having plenty two games more. They had built good momentum before Christmas and got level on points with Atletico but it was a very disappointing performance; xG says they didn’t deserve to win. This will be a tough fixture for them too as Celta Vigo are on a nice unbeaten run. They aren’t exactly creating chance for fun, but they are doing enough to win games.

For me the Real price is correct at 1.5, and I see no real value in backing or laying those odds. They should win, but Celta Vigo will be confident and you wouldn’t fancy Real to keep a clean sheet so there will probably be drama and a higher price at 1.5 at some stage for in-running traders. With that in mind, I feel Both Teams To Score is overpriced at 1.75. Despite turning around their form, Real have still conceded plenty of chances and Celta create enough to score. I feel this will be a good game for the neutrals, and BTTS is the value.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.75 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
