SATURDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Saturday’s games between DORTMUND v MAINZ, LAZIO v INTER MILAN and REAL SOCIEDAD V MALLORCA all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

DORTMUND V MAINZ

2.30pm It might not be the most glamourous Saturday of football in Europe, but all football bets are 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange and we have three interesting markets from the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga. We kick the day off in the Bundesliga with Dortmund hosting Mainz. With Bayern Munich losing before the International break, the gap between Dortmund and Bayern is down to one point and perhaps the title race is more open than we thought early in the season. Don’t forget about Bayer Leverkusen too, who are also one point ahead of Dortmund as well. Apart from a poor performance against Gladbach at the end of September, Dortmund have been been pretty good since their shock loss to Freiburg at the start of the season. They have been scoring a lot of goals, but they have also been conceding quite a few! This should be an entertaining game.

Mainz will be pleased with their start to the season. Although they finished in 12th last season in the end, they were hanging around the relegation battle for most of the season. They have had a reasonably easy start to the season fixture list wise – they produced a shock win over RB Leipzig on the opening weekend and haven’t looked back. Their xG figures are a little alarming though considering they have played average sides – they lost to Bochum for example, and then they have played Greuther Furth (and won) who are certain to go down so they are probably a little higher in the table because of the fixture list. I feel this will be a straightforward win for Dortmund, and I’d have them under 1.4 instead of 1.44.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Dortmund to beat Mainz at 1.44 with BETDAQ Exchange.

LAZIO V INTER MILAN

5pm Next we move over to Serie A for an absolute cracker. Serie A has been spiced up this season with Juventus losing CR7 and Jose Mourinho arriving at Roma. That has certainly opened up the table a lot, and Lazio actually start the weekend on the same number of points at Juventus. They are already 11 points behind the league leaders Napoli however, and perhaps it is Inter Milan who are under pressure here. After winning the title so easily last season, they find themselves four points behind Napoli. That isn’t a lot to be honest considering how strongly they finished last season, but they have sold their star striker Lukaku to Chelsea after all! This is a big game for big sides, and it will be very interesting to see who comes out on top.

Although Inter Milan are a little off the pace at the top of the table, you can’t really fault their performances. They had one slightly poor performance away to Sampdoria but they still got a 2-2 draw. They have been creating chances for fun, and if they can continue in this form they will lift the title again. They have created xG figures of 2.09, 1.54, 0.85 (the Sampdoria game), 3.63, 2.75, 4.25 and 2.16 this season! Lazio have scored a lot of goals this season, but they haven’t created the same volume of chances as Inter – perhaps it is a sign of their level looking at the 2-0 loss to AC Milan where they only created an xG of 0.31. Apart from that they have had a reasonably easy fixture list and were lucky to beat Roma 3-2 as Roma deserved a draw. As I said, this should be a good game, but Inter win for me as they are a class above and the 2.26 looks nice value.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Inter Milan to beat Lazio at 2.26 with BETDAQ Exchange.

REAL SOCIEDAD V MALLORCA

8pm Finally we move over to La Liga to finish the say as Real Sociedad host new boys Mallorca. We actually had a very quiet day in La Liga with only two fixtures today after the International break. Both sides will have been pleased with their starts to the season. Real Sociedad start the weekend in third spot, level on points with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. While Mallorca would have been delighted with 11 points from eight games given their main aim will be staying up this season. They also suffered one of the most unlucky results in La Liga this season when they lost 3-2 to Osasuna because they created an xG of 4.03! Looking at their xG figures, it’s obvious they like to play an open game. It will be interesting to see what style of play develops here because Real Sociedad keep games tight!

Since losing 4-2 on the opening weekend to Barcelona, Real Sociedad are undefeated. Under 2.5 goals would have won in six of their last seven La Liga games and they have been consistently solid at the back. Since the Barcelona game, their xG figures conceded read; 0.86, 0.51, 0.64, 0.89, 1.57, 0.65 and 0.95. They even played Sevilla in that run – although in general their fixture list wasn’t difficult. Although Mallorca have saw under 2.5 goals win in six of their eight games, you can see they generally play an open game. They concede plenty of chances, and Sociedad should be winning this game. I know the stats back up under 2.5 goals, but I don’t like the Mallorca chances conceded for that. The best value option here is the Real Sociedad win at 1.46.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Real Sociedad to beat Mallorca at 1.46 with BETDAQ Exchange.
