LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews ELCHE v ATLETICO MADRID and REAL MADRID v OSASUNA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ELCHE V ATLETICO MADRID

3.15pm A huge day in La Liga! And it promises to be a cracking day with all football bets 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Atletico Madrid would have been clued to the TV on Thursday night as Barcelona lost their game in hand against Granada. It’s been quite a dramatic week at the top of the table, Atletico Madrid lost, Real Madrid drew and then Barcelona lost! All that means it’s been a fantastic week for Atletico Madrid who are two points ahead of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Obviously they would have gone behind in Barcelona won on Thursday, and now they have the title in their own hands again. The problem for Atletico fans is they aren’t exactly finishing the season strongly – that has come at the same time as Real Madrid and Barcelona improving, and they have been under immense pressure.

Atletico have played Eibar and Huesca in recent weeks, their only wins in April, and now they play the other team in the bottom three Elche. I wondered prior to those games whether it was good for Atletico or not to play a team fighting to stay in La Liga when Atletico were under such pressure, but they outclassed them easily. The same will likely happen here, as Elche are a very limited side. You can see looking at the xG figures that Elche don’t create much, and Atletico should boss this game. They will have been given a boost from the Barcelona results on Thursday and the 1.44 is worth backing on Atletico – especially with 0% commission on offer today! I’d have them a little shorter than 1.4.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Atletico Madrid to beat Elche at 1.44 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

REAL MADRID V OSASUNA

8pm Not only was the Barcelona result good for Atletico, it was also great for Real Madrid. They are right back in the mix now, as a Barcelona win on Thursday would have put them on the backfoot. Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have to play each other next weekend, so a draw there could really put Real in an excellent position. They have a massive Champions League Semi-Final midweek to focus on however, and they find themselves on the backfoot in that tie after a 1-1 draw at home in the first leg. While Barcelona and Atletico play next Saturday, Real have to play Sevilla which won’t be an easy game either. It’s fair to say that this weekend is huge, because any dropped points this weekend could be a knockout blow with a difficult weekend coming next week.

When you look at this fixture on paper, you feel Real should win. Osasuna are an average mid-table La Liga side, however Real have been dropping points lately. You would have said the same about the Getafe and possibly Real Betis game, but both those games finished 0-0. Real have had four draws in their last five games in all competitions since beating Barcelona in El Clasico. With that in mind, I wouldn’t be lumping on Real at 1.39, and I much prefer under 2.5 goals at 2.05. Real haven’t been creating a lot of chances lately, and Osasuna won’t be banging the Real door down either – I can see Real having to grind out a win in a low scoring game, so unders is worth a small investment at 2.05.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 2.05 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
