SUNDAY IN EUROPE: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s games between FREIBURG v BAYER LEVERKUSEN, AC MILAN v NAPOLI and REAL MADRID v CADIZ all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

FREIBURG V BAYER LEVERKUSEN

2.30pm We have another cracking day in Europe on Sunday, and although we have some La Liga action next week, this is a fantastic way to finish the last weekend before Christmas on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have three quality fixtures from the Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga to enjoy, and we start in the Bundesliga with Freiburg hosting Bayer Leverkusen. Both these sides are having a fantastic season by their own standards, and they are both pushing for a top four finish which would be an incredible achievement. Leverkusen started the weekend sitting in 3rd, granted they are a little detached from Bayern Munich and Dortmund, while Freiburg are only two points behind Leverkusen in 5th. Considering Freiburg finished in 10th last season and Leverkusen in 6th, even just to be in the mix for the top four is very exciting for their fans. They are definitely not playing as well as their place in the table suggests, however with the likes of RB Leipzig and Wolfsburg struggling this season, there is definitely room to move into that top four.

If you look at the xG table for the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen are actually one of the massive movers. The xG table actually had them in 10th at the start of the weekend, which is a massive difference compared to their placing! Freiburg are actually ahead of them in that table too, although they still fall from their actual spot. Leverkusen had some lucky win towards the start of the season and that explains the xG table, but recently they have actually improved. They did well to beat RB Leipzig recently, but overall they are still conceding a lot of chances and that has to be a worry. Freiburg come into the game on a disappointing run – they have only won once in their last six but they are actually playing very well. They created an xG of 2.78 v Hoffenheim, 2.61 v Bochum and 1.61 v Eintracht Frankfurt. They could have won all three of those games to be honest. With Leverkusen so open at the back, and Freiburg creating a lot of chances, I feel it’s worth taking the 2.74 on the home win.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Freiburg to beat Bayer Leverkusen at 2.74 with BETDAQ Exchange.

AC MILAN V NAPOLI

7.45pm Next we move over to Serie A for a massive game as AC Milan host Napoli. It’s not even Christmas, but it is close in fairness, and I hate calling these games must win games “this early” in the season, but both these sides will be very worried to see Inter Milan top of the table, and they will also be getting a little worried about the gap. That essentially makes this a must win game – the loser will have too much ground to make up on such a strong side at the top of the table, while the winner stays in touch. This game comes at the bad time for Napoli however, as the wheels have come off them in recent weeks. They did have a nice lead at the top of the table, but they have come up well short against the top sides and they dropped more points on this run against sides like Empoli and Sassuolo. It just haven’t been a good run for them, but they have been playing OK football. For example, they lost 1-0 to Empoli but they created an xG of 1.71. It wasn’t a bad performance, this is just one of those runs where nothing goes right for you unfortunately! AC Milan have had some setbacks recently too – they would have been disappointed not to beat Liverpool in the Champions League considering Liverpool had nothing to play for, and they also dropped points last weekend in Serie A.

As I said above, the loser will really be on the backfoot here – it really is a massive game for these two! I felt we’d have an open market here, but AC Milan are 2.36 favourites and I feel that is too short. I know Napoli have been going through a tough run at the moment, but their performances haven’t been bad. I would be very worried if they were dropping points against mid-table sides and not creating chances, but they have been creating enough to win the games – just not scoring! AC Milan haven’t exactly been on fire themselves lately, and I expect a very close game here. I’m happy to lay AC Milan at 2.36 from a value point of view just purely because I expect the game to be closer than the odds suggest. Napoli might have had a knock to their confidence with their recent results, so I will keep stakes limited, but as I said, they have been creating enough chances to get a result here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) AC Milan to beat Napoli at 2.36 with BETDAQ Exchange.

REAL MADRID V CADIZ

8pm We move to La Liga to finish a wonderful Sunday as Real Madrid host Cadiz. Although they haven’t been at their best at times this season, Real Madrid have built a nice lead at the top of La Liga already this season. It’s very early days of course, but I would suggest the title is very close to being won already for Real! Sevilla have popped up as the biggest threat, but they aren’t really a threat over the course of the season. Barcelona have more issues than I can mention and Atletico have been off the pace. While everything is looking good for Real at the top of table, things aren’t looking so good for Cadiz at the bottom. They sit in the relegation zone at the moment, and Real Madrid away from home is the last fixture you want to see when you’re in that position! They have played some massive games recently against the sides around them, and they have only managed one point from three games against Granada, Elche and Getafe.

The market is expecting a straightforward home win here with Real trading 1.25 at the time of writing, and it’s very hard to see anything bar an easy home win here. Cadiz just haven’t been good enough this season which is a shame because they had such a good first season in La Liga. Cadiz fans will be boosted by the fact that they won 1-0 away to Real last season, but Real come into the game in superb form and they are just winning games. As I said, they haven’t been blowing teams away creating a host of chances, but they are grinding out win after win. Cadiz are conceding over two goals per away game this season, and when you see Real are scoring over two goals per home game, I feel there’s only one result here. I feel we’ll see an easy Real win, and they can cover the handicap too – the 1.74 -1.5 goals looks great value looking at the stats from both sides.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Real Madrid -1.5 goals to beat Cadiz at 1.74 with BETDAQ Exchange.
