SUNDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews Sunday’s matches between ARMINIA BIELEFELD v BAYERN MUNICH, ATLETICO MADRID v ESPANYOL, BAYER LEVERKUSEN v RB LEIPZIG and SEVILLA v REAL MADRID all including a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ARMINIA BIELEFELD V BAYERN MUNICH

2.30pm After what has been a dramatic week in Europe, we have some top class action on Sunday with the top sides from the Bundesliga and La Liga in action on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We start the day in the Bundesliga with the German Champions in action as they travel to take on Arminia Bielefeld. Although Real Madrid v Chelsea took all the headlines in the Champions League on Tuesday night, the biggest shock was Bayern Munich crashing out at the hands of Villarreal. Real Madrid were expected to get through after a 3-1 win in the first leg, and although that game dramatically went to extra time, they still made it through. Although Bayern had lost the first leg to Villarreal 1-0, with home advantage a huge amount of football fans expected them to get through. They didn’t play that well over the two legs though, and although they were shocked with a late goal you could hardly make a huge argument that they were unlucky. They just didn’t create enough in front of goal which is unlike them in fairness, and probably highlights how good Villarreal were. Nevertheless, they have to pick themselves up now and see out the Bundesliga season.

There’s going to be no drama at the top of the Bundesliga on the run-in this season given Bayern already have the title as good as won, but they still can’t afford to lose focus. This seems an ideal fixture to bounce back in – Arminia Bielefeld are in a relegation battle and this will be a case of how many goals will Bayern score rather than will they actually win. The markets agree with Bayern trading as short as 1.21 at the time of writing. It’s extremely difficult to see past the Bayern win here, the only worry would be the Champions League result leaving a hangover and a very poor performance here, but even then they would probably still be better than this Arminia Bielefeld side. Every game is vital for Arminia now given they are in the relegation playoff spot, but started the weekend level on points with Hertha Berlin in the relegation zone and just one behind Stuttgart. I think we could see a very open game here, Bayern will loosen up if they go 3-0 ahead too, and I like a small bet on Both Teams To Score at 1.91. I can see an average Bayern performance here which will give Arminia chances, but we should see a lot of goals given the gulf in class.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.91 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATLETICO MADRID V ESPANYOL

3.15pm Next we move to La Liga as Atletico Madrid host Espanyol. Atletico were another side to crash out of the Champions League midweek. It’s fair to say however that result was more expected than Bayern Munich though! Atletico didn’t play too badly against Manchester City but they simply didn’t create enough – they stopped City from playing and creating chances, but at a cost of their own play going forward. Over the two legs Atletico finished with xG figures of 0.0 and 0.95. That simply isn’t good enough, and I know they kept City down to xG figures of 0.94 and 1.02 which is an achievement – at least City made the running and actually looked to score goals. Atletico wanted to grind out a result and to be fair to them, that was their best tactic against a side as good as City. In between those two legs, Atletico also suffered a huge setback in La Liga. They lost 1-0 to Mallorca last weekend which was a huge shock, and just when they were opening a gap on Real Betis in the race for that fourth position they have opened the door again. They need to pick themselves up now after the Champions League result and win this game – they can’t afford anything bar a win.

Espanyol will of course have something to say about that, and although they are very hard to predict they can be brilliant on their day. I have to say Espanyol are probably the most up-and-down side in La Liga – their xG figures are incredible. When they are bad, they are woeful but when they are good they are almost unstoppable and the funny thing is, there’s almost no in between! Quite possibly the most important thing when looking at Espanyol is their away form. They have put in most of their woeful performances away from home – they actually only have eight points away from home this season from their 18 games, and that’s close to a relegation battle just purely on away form. It has paid to be against Espanyol away this season, but I feel the market has Atletico priced very well at 1.42 – it’s hard to make the case that the home win should be something like 1.3 for example. I can see Atletico winning, but in a grind rather than anything flashy. Under 2.5 goals stands out here at 1.98. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see a 1-0 Atletico win, but it will be hard work.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.98 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BAYER LEVERKUSEN V RB LEIPZIG

6.30pm Next we move back to the Bundesliga for a cracker as Bayer Leverkusen host RB Leipzig. We actually finish Sunday we two cracking fixtures as we have Sevilla v Real Madrid later, but this is a brilliant game to enjoy beforehand. It was great to land a Max Bet on Thursday on RB Leipzig in the Europa League, and the odds of 2.7 was a very nice bonus too. As I said before that game, they arrived into that fixture in superb form and so much pointed to a RB Leipzig win. Once again, they are a very appealing bet here at 2.38. I can understand why the layers are need to have them over 2.0, but I feel this is an excellent time to get on the RB Leipzig train. We have landed nice bets on them over the last few weeks, even a Dortmund lay at nice odds when Leipzig won 4-1 too, and we can land another nice bet here. I know RB Leipzig started the season in very poor form, but they have really found their groove lately and their performances have been top class. You can’t help but be impressed when you look through their xG figures.

They have also been banging in the goals for fun domestically. They have netted 13 goals in their last four Bundesliga games, and then in the Europa League they created xG figures of 2.80 and 2.33 against Atalanta which was two very impressive performances. Just like the Atalanta game on Thursday, not only do RB Leipzig arrive into this fixture in top form, but it looks like Bayer Leverkusen are there for the taking too. Leverkusen lost both legs to Atalanta in the Europa League, and they have been putting in average xG figures in the Bundesliga too. My main worry is that Leverkusen have been rock solid at home, which is obviously a strong positive for them but given the way RB Leipzig are playing at the moment and the fact that they are trading as big as 2.38, I feel the away win is worthy of a Max Bet here. When you look through the Leverkusen xG figures, they just aren’t creating the same volume of chances and although home advantage seems big for them, Leipzig can win again here for us.

The Ultra Says:
Five points win RB Leipzig to beat Bayer Leverkusen at 2.38 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

SEVILLA V REAL MADRID

8pm We move back to La Liga to finish a brilliant Sunday with Sevilla hosting Real Madrid. If you think back to January/February, it looked like Sevilla might challenge for the title at one stage but they never really got close if truth was told. I also said at the time that Real Madrid wouldn’t fear Sevilla and that they couldn’t really pressure them. My view on Sevilla is that they are a top class side and can beat any of the top La Liga sides over 90 minutes but they can’t live with them over the course of the season. Barcelona have gone past them now, but that second place is still up from grabs and they have to aim for it anyway – a win here would be a massive help. Real Madrid basically have the title won given the gap, and they can afford to focus on the Champions League latter stages now. What a dramatic night they had on Tuesday though, I’m not sure they will be fully recovered from that experience! That was a superb game for all football fans, and Real Madrid were lucky in the end to get through it – I’m sure they were shocked Chelsea scored three times. This should be a good game, and it will be interesting to see what type of performances we get from Real Madrid after that game on Tuesday, I’m sure it would have took a lot out of them.

Sevilla haven’t been playing brilliant football recently, and we’ll have a very interesting market. It’s no surprise that we have a pretty open market, and the price of 2.56 on Real Madrid is going to have a lot of backers and layers. It will be interesting to keep an eye on that price to see does it shorten or drift and who wins the battle before kick off! Sevilla got back to winning ways last weekend with a much needed 4-2 win over Granada because they had gone four games in all competitions without a win prior to that. They had crashed out of the Europa League too and got overtaken in second spot so it really wasn’t a good time for them. They have been keeping their games very tight recently, especially in the big games and although Real Madrid saw a lot of action midweek against Chelsea, I expect a pretty tense affair here. I think the 1.88 on under 2.5 goals is very appealing here – the match odds market looks priced very fairly, and I really don’t see many goals in this one. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 0-0 either.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.88 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
