SUNDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews Sunday’s European games between AC MILAN v FIORENTINA, UDINESE v INTER MILAN and BARCELONA v MALLORCA all including a recommended BETDAQ bet.

AC MILAN V FIORENTINA

2pm It’s crunch time as we draw closer to the end of the season, and we have some huge games around Europe today on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have two massive games in Serie A, and then Mallorca who are in a relegation battle travel to take on Barcelona later tonight. We start in Serie A though with a cracker as AC Milan host Fiorentina, it was a superb week for AC Milan without playing – Inter Milan played their game in hand and lost, meaning AC Milan kept their two point advantage at the top of the table. The two sides have played the same number of games, and now the advantage has really turned in AC Milan’s favour. Unfortunately for the Inter Milan goalkeeper he made an error he’ll never forget but AC Milan can’t control that and in a nutshell, they need to win this game now. They can’t afford to drop points after being gifted that advantage midweek. The market is reasonably confident of a home win here with AC Milan trading 1.67 at the time of writing. On paper, this looks a good time to meet Fiorentina because they have lost their last two games, but the results definitely don’t tell the full story!

Fiorentina lost 4-0 at home to Udinese midweek, but looking at the xG figures you can barely believe the score line. The game finished 3.08 to 2.93 towards Fiorentina on xG, obviously a very entertaining game but it was just a case of Udinese taking their chances and Fiorentina missing theirs! Fiorentina have been very good at home lately – that’s their second xG of over 3.0 in a row but away from home they haven’t been as good. A good highlight of this is the home and away tables – they sit second in the home table and then mid-table in the away table. That definitely makes the 1.67 on AC Milan appeal considering how rock solid they have been at home this season – they come into the game in great form too. Their two recent wins against Genoa and Lazio have been very smooth, and although they had a little wobble before those games, they were unlucky not to beat Torino. There’s a lot going in favour of the home side here, and they are worth backing at 1.67 – three points feels right.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win AC Milan to beat Fiorentina at 1.67 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

UDINESE V INTER MILAN

5pm We stay in Serie A next as Udinese host Inter Milan. As I said above, it was a terrible week for Inter Milan in the title race as they lost their game in hand to Bologna – now they sit two points behind AC Milan having played the same number of games, and they could easily be starting this game five points behind. Inter fans will have a long day ahead as they will be very interested in the 2pm game too! It was just one of those very unfortunate moments for the Inter goalkeeper midweek – it was an incredible mistake – and one he will never forget. Even more so if it costs them the title! If you haven’t seen it do check it out, it was one of the biggest goalkeeper errors of the season. Even more unlucky for Inter Milan, while they were drawing at the time of the mistake they actually deserved to be ahead. They finished the game with an xG of 2.2 in a game they played very well in. All they can do now is hope AC Milan slip up somewhere and win every game left to keep putting the pressure on – that loss against Bologna came from nowhere to be fair to Inter – they had put four wins together including tricky games against Juventus and Roma.

Udinese will be buzzing after their 4-0 win midweek over Fiorentina, but as I highlighted in the game above, that score line doesn’t tell the full story. Udinese actually conceded an xG of over 3.0, and it was just a case of they took their chances and Fiorentina didn’t. If they play as loose as that at the back again here Inter won’t miss chances like that! From that point of view the 1.56 on Inter is worth an investment, and I have to say the AC Milan and Inter Milan double today double make a lot of appeal. Udinese are conceding very close to the same amount of goals that they are scoring, and on paper this should be a very smooth win for Inter Milan. Don’t discount the fact too that if AC Milan drop points then they will go out buzzing to close the gap or go past too – I feel Inter should be trading under 1.5 here and I’m happy to have a confident bet at 1.56. This Udinese team is very average and there for the taking.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Inter Milan to beat Udinese at 1.56 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BARCELONA V MALLORCA

8pm We move over to La Liga to finish the day as Barcelona host Mallorca. We’re at the stage of the season now when every game is a “must win” game for Mallorca, although given their situation in the relegation battle you could even say “must draw” at this stage. Mallorca have picked up two huge recent wins to give them some cushion, but you have to admire the fighting spirit of the sides in the relegation battle because they are getting plenty of results lately. Cadiz managed to pick up a draw away to Sevilla on Friday night; although as I highlighted they are playing their best football of the season at the moment. That just piles the pressure on Mallorca though, and that win last weekend against Alaves was absolutely huge. Alaves played on Saturday against Villarreal too, so that win was vital and where would they be without that shock win over Atletico Madrid too. The one thing worth highlighting however in regards to this fixture is that both those wins came at home, and in general they have struggled away from home this season. They’ve only managed eight points from 16 games on the road this season.

While there’s a lot of things that point to a smooth Barcelona win here, I wouldn’t be rushing to back them at 1.34. They have definitely hit a bump in the road under Xavi recently – the exit from the Europa League obviously took the headlines but they have lost their last two home games since. They lost 1-0 to Cadiz and then 1-0 again to Rayo Vallecano last weekend, and I just wouldn’t be keen including Barcelona in any BETDAQ Multiple today. I think you’ll find better 1.34 shots around today to be honest. I know Mallorca are a very limited side, especially away from home, but they are in a big fight to stay in La Liga and the jury is definitely still out on this Barcelona side. I’m very interested to see how they respond to this mini-bump in the road. To be fair to them, they didn’t play too badly in each game but they have been conceding too many chances in general lately. With that in mind, I feel it’s worth backing Mallorca to get on the score sheet at some stage – Barcelona have just been very sloppy at the back recently, and the 1.96 on Both Teams To Score is worth a small bet.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 1.96 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
