NATIONS LEAGUE FINAL: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Sunday’s Nations League Final between SPAIN v FRANCE and the third place play-off between ITALY v BELGIUM both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

ITALY V BELGIUM

2pm What a fantastic week we’ve had in the Nations League already and we have Finals day to enjoy on Sunday! It’s fair to say we’ve already had a huge amount of drama in-play on 0% Commission on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! , and Belgium will be wondering how they are in the third place play-off instead of the final later as they went into half-time 2-0 ahead. We nearly had a comeback in the first Semi-Final too as Spain lead 2-0 with Italy down to ten men, but managed to hold on for a 2-1 win. This week as been a breath of fresh air for an International break – we’ve had two immense games already and we should have a cracking day today too. It’s possible that the coaching staff might choose to give a chance to some fringe or younger players in this game, but hopefully not as we should have a cracker.

As I said in my preview during the week, you always get a sense that Belgium come up short in the big moments. Perhaps we’re being very harsh as it was an excellent second half performance from France, but it’s just another big game Belgium have come up short in – even when they had a victory in their hands! Today is very close to a glorified friendly if we’re being very honest, and it will be hard for the players to play at a high tempo. I feel we’ll see more mistakes here than usual and we’ll also see quite an open game. Both sides like to attack and as they say, styles make games, and I feel this could turn into a ding-dong battle. I could be totally wrong and it finishes 0-0, but I can see a big score line here and a very open game. Over 2.5 goals looks great value at 2.0.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Over 2.5 goals at 2.0 with BETDAQ Exchange.

SPAIN V FRANCE

7.45pm It’s Nations League Final time! As I said above it’s been a fantastic week of football, and this is a dream final too. Two European heavyweight go toe-to-toe and we should have a fantastic match. I have to say, it looked like we would be seeing Spain v Belgium at half-time in the second semi-final but credit to France, they produced in the second half and came from 2-0 down. Against a quality side like Belgium that was impressive; although Belgium didn’t cope well with the pressure. Although we have some very attacking players on both sides, it’s hard to see this being an open game. We usually see very cagey games between two top sides in situations like this, and France in general like to keep games tight these days. That being said, they had no issues scoring three when two behind!

As you would expect, we have a pretty open market here. At the time of writing, Spain are trading 3.05, France 2.62 and the draw is 3.3. It was nice to land our two bets in the semi-finals, and we landed them from a value point of view. I didn’t agree with the odds in both semi-finals, and I don’t agree with the odds here. Spain are a top side and they are improving too. I fully take on board that they aren’t as good as they once were and that France have the best squad in Europe at the moment, but I’d have the sides closer together in the market. The 2.62 is just too short on France in my opinion and although the Spain win is tempting at 3.05, I’d rather have the draw on my side in a big final so I’m happy with the France lay at the odds. This should be a cracking game and one to sit back and enjoy!

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay France to beat Spain at 2.62 with BETDAQ Exchange.
