SLOVAKIA V SCOTLAND

2pm We have an excellent day of Nations League action on Sunday with all the Home Nations in action! We start with a Scotland team coming here on a high after reaching Euro 2020 (or 2021!) midweek in the Playoffs. It was an absolutely excellent achievement after going so long without a major tournament and it’s only right that they would have celebrated! They will have to get their game faces back on here though as they are in an excellent position in Group B2. It looks like they could easily get promoted to Group A and that was be a massive achievement.

It would be a great shame if they let a four point lead slip going into the final round of fixtures because they celebrated too hard! No doubt management are on top of it. Slovakia will have celebrated too having got past Northern Ireland to reach the Euro’s too. That was a massive boost for them as they have been very out of form recently. They were poor against Ireland and Scotland beat them when they had home advantage. I think Scotland will get a result here, and I feel that they should be favourites. I’m happy to lay Slovakia at 2.8.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Slovakia to beat Scotland at 2.8 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

WALES V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

5pm This is a massive game for both sides in Group B4, but for different reasons. Wales lead the Group by one point over Finland, while Ireland are only one point ahead of Bulgaria in the race to avoid relegation. Bulgaria have home advantage today against Finland, and then they play Ireland on the final matchday. Anything from this game would be massive for Ireland, but the reality is their best hope of seems to be a 0-0 these days. It’s been five games now without a goal for Ireland as they played out a 3-0 loss against England midweek. The new manager came in with a lot of fanfare, but he doesn’t seem to have changed much yet.

50% of Irish fans are saying they are playing better football, and the other 50% are saying they haven’t changed. Time will tell if this manager is a success, but they need to start scoring. These two played out a very boring 0-0 in Dublin recently and the draw is a very tempting bet again here at 3.15 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Wales are no doubt the most likely winner as Ireland are unlikely to score, or just score once, but Wales are without manager Ryan Giggs and they played out a boring 0-0 with the USA midweek. This could be a game with very few chances, and the draw is the value play.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.15 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

BELGIUM V ENGLAND

7.45pm Another massive fixture! It’s fair to say that England have been disappointing recently, the 1-0 loss with home advantage against Denmark was a huge blow – especially after beating Belgium in the early stages of the Group. A 0-0 draw with Denmark as well has left them in a tricky position in Group A2. They are two points behind Belgium, and level with Denmark who play Iceland today. England have the advantage of playing Iceland on the final matchday, but if they want to reach the Nations League Finals then they have to win tonight.

The problem is that they just aren’t playing good football at the moment. They look a little disjointed, and Southgate seems to not know what his best XI is. They warmed up for this fixture with a 3-0 win against Ireland, but Ireland have been very poor recently. I think this will be a high quality game between two solid sides – Belgium have an excellent squad but they have yet to really live up to the hype. I feel the draw is worth a small investment at 3.5 as Belgium look a little short at 2.44 even allowing for England’s recent struggles.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.5 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

AUSTRIA V NORTHERN IRELAND

7.45pm Northern Ireland have to pick themselves up quickly after their disappointing result in the European Playoffs midweek. They would have felt that they had an excellent opportunity to reach the Euros against a poor Slovakia side, but it just wasn’t to be for them. They now have to win their final two games and avoid relegation to Group C. They face a very difficult task however away to Group leaders Austria, and with Romania three points ahead of them at the bottom of the Group, the pressure is on!

Austria are rightly big favourites, however they were only able to score once when Northern Ireland had home advantage earlier in the Group. They actually lost in a shock 3-2 defeat to Romania too, so the blueprint is there for Northern Ireland. Perhaps if they had qualified during the week they could have given this a right go, but as it is it’s difficult to see them winning and playing an attacking type of game. I think this might be a dull affair, with under 2.5 goals worth a small investment at 1.87.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 1.87 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
