LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews VALENCIA v BARCELONA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

VALENCIA V BARCELONA

8pm What a huge game we have in La Liga on Sunday evening as Valencia host Barcelona. We’ve already had a dramatic week at the top of the table, with Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid leaving the door open for Barcelona to go top on Thursday night, only for them to lose 2-1 against Granada. What can you say other than they will be bitterly disappointed and now they have to start all over again.

In fairness to Barcelona, they were very unlucky to lose. xG finished 1.74 to 0.81 to Barcelona, but that’s just how football goes. Although everyone will be talking about their loss and the fact they had the chance to go top, they actually played well. From the top three, Barcelona have been finishing the season the best. Their xG figures have been very impressive, and they should get the job done tonight – they are worth backing at 1.4 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange.

Valencia have had a very 50/50 season. I say 50/50 because it’s hard to know whether they should be happy with it or not. They went through a huge amount of change in the summer, and with that comes problems. They have avoided a relegation battle and that was probably the target after all the change – it’s always a danger of things going very wrong! Nevertheless, their performances have been very average and they have been giving away a lot of goals. This seems ideal for Barcelona who have been excellent going forward – I know the result didn’t go their way on Thursday but they still created chances and the 1.4 is too big on them tonight – for me they should be closer to 1.3.

The Ultra Says:
Four points win Barcelona to beat Valencia at 1.4 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
