WOMEN’S EURO FINAL: The Ultra previews Sunday’s Final between ENGLAND WOMEN v GERMANY WOMEN with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

England Women v Germany Women

5pm It’s the perfect Women’s Euro 2022 Final for the host country as England Women meet Germany Women at Wembley on Sunday evening. We have a pretty open market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange, but the home side come into the game as favourites. England are trading around 2.6 at the time of writing, while Germany trade 3.0. Both sides have been perfect in the tournament to date with five wins from five games – they have also scored plenty of goals and just been entertaining in general. It promises to be a fantastic Final, and surely it adds a bit of spice that England v Germany is one of the biggest International rivalries in football.

Ironically, before the tournament started both sides played a friendly against Sweden and lost 2-1 – England put the record right in the Semi-Final though with a very impressive 4-0 win. That’s put the country on a high, and expectation levels are through the roof now. It will be interesting to see how the England players handle that – Wembley is fully sold out as you would expect, and the FA have said that they have put robust security in place so we don’t get a repeat of the Euro 2020 Final crowd trouble outside and then additionally will all saw what happened in Paris for the Champions League Final too.

This England side are top class, and obviously having home advantage is a huge plus. The players will be nervous of course, and playing at Wembley will definitely give England a boost however I still feel the market is wrong here. Germany Women are eight-times Champions which is an incredible achievement. England are aiming to win their first major trophy, and although I expect a cagey game between two very good sides, Germany look the value for me at 3.0.

As you would expect, both sides have had to come through some tough games. England breezed through an easy Group but then had a very tough game against Spain. The fact they grinded out that win was impressive, and then they hammered Sweden. Germany have been the opposite – they had an easy time of it against Austria and then had to grind out a win against a brilliant French team. That was a really 50/50 going into it but Germany just did marginally more.

An interesting side debate is that England’s Beth Mead and Germany’s Alexandra Popp are tied on six goals each in the race for the Golden Boot. Perhaps the winner of the Golden Boot will also lift the trophy – Beth Mead has been absolutely amazing for England but this German side is so well balanced that I can’t have England as favourites here. They have a huge amount of attacking talent – while their side in young they have all that experience from the likes of Popp and a couple of others who won Olympic Gold in 2016. I wouldn’t rule out a draw and an extra bit of drama, but Germany are worth backing at 3.0.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Germany Women to beat England Women at 3.0 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
