EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS THURSDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews three Euro 2020 Qualifiers on Thursday with a recommended BETDAQ bet. It’s BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA v NORTHERN IRELAND, SLOVAKIA v REPUBLIC OF IRELAND and SCOTLAND v ISRAEL.

BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA V NORTHERN IRELAND

7.45pm Is it Euro 2020 Qualifying, Euro 2021, or will we just call it the European Playoffs! Whatever you want to call it, we have some absolutely massive games on Thursday in Europe. We start with Bosnia & Herzegovina hosting Northern Ireland in Path B. Bosnia could only finish fourth in their qualifying Group, but they topped their Nations League Group in 2019 – a Group in which Northern Ireland lost all four games. Bosnia bossed their home game to win 2-0, while they managed a 2-1 win away with Northern Ireland only scoring in injury time.

Northern Ireland never really stood a chance of qualifying after being drawn in a Group with Germany and Netherlands, and they face a very difficult test here. It’s fair to say that Northern Ireland did better in qualifying than Bosnia, but home advantage is massive here. Northern Ireland are much better at home, and Bosnia can get the job done here. I’m happy to back them at 1.95 given the recent Nations League clashes between the sides.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Bosnia & Herzegovina to beat Northern Ireland at 1.95 with BETDAQ Exchange.

SLOVAKIA V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

7.45pm This is other game from Path B, and while many will be hoping for a Northern Ireland v Republic Of Ireland fixture it’s very hard to see it. This fixture is clearly massive for Ireland, they have started the next Nations League poorly – they could only draw away with Bulgaria and then lost at home to Finland. That loss at home to Finland would have come as a surprise for a few, but the signs were there that they were poor at the back against Bulgaria and they have never been good up front. Of course we have had a change in management and it will take time to bed in the changes, but a loss here would make it a very poor start.

Slovakia were one of the sides who went into the final day after being “robbed” by Wales. Slovakia won their final game, but a Wales win meant they produced a remarkable comeback after a poor start! They finished last in their Nations League Group with Ukraine and Czech Republic but they are both levels above Ireland. It’s not a surprise to see an open market, but I really like Slovakia at the odds. Ireland have been very poor lately and I can’t see that changing. The home win is too big at 2.72.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Slovakia to beat Republic Of Ireland at 2.72 with BETDAQ Exchange.

SCOTLAND V ISRAEL

7.45pm As noted in their last Nations League game, these two will be getting to know each other very well! They were already in the same Group in the 2019 Nations League, and then both went up to Group B together, and then have this Playoff together! Home advantage was big in the last Nations League, with Israel winning at home and Scotland winning a crazy 3-2 game at home. It’s fair to say that there isn’t much between the sides. Scotland were odds on to win their home Nations League fixture recently, but Israel managed a 1-1 draw.

Scotland have now been moved out to 2.06 from around 1.9 in the last fixture. I still feel that the 2.06 is still a little short here. From everything we have seen between the sides, there clearly isn’t a lot between the sides and it’s also fair to say that the quality isn’t great either. Scotland have been poor in general for a while now, and while Israel aren’t a superb team themselves – they can get a result here.

The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) Scotland to beat Israel at 2.06 with BETDAQ Exchange.
