THURSDAY LA LIGA: Our football tipster The Ultra previews GETAFE V GRANADA including a recommended BETDAQ bet.

GETAFE V GRANADA

6pm The fixtures in Europe just keep coming this week and we have action from La Liga on BETDAQ Betting Exchange on Thursday as Getafe host Granada. We should have had two fixtures this evening, but Mallorca v Real Sociedad has been postponed. This is a massive game towards the bottom of the La Liga table, with Getafe under a lot more pressure than Granada. At the start of the midweek round of fixtures, Getafe were sitting just outside the bottom three while Granada were in 13th. They are far enough away to not really worry about the relegation battle, but they did start the week only seven points away – they do have enough teams between them and the bottom three to not worry though.

This should be a good game, with both sides coming into the game in reasonably decent form. Getafe have done a lot of hard work in recent weeks to get out of the bottom three. They went on a six game unbeaten run which included beating Real Madrid before that run came to an end away to Sevilla. They still played reasonably OK in that game however, I know they only created an xG of 0.22 but they kept Sevilla down to 0.73 which is pretty positive considering they were away from home.

Granada come into the game in great form too. They managed to hold Barcelona to a 1-1 draw recently and already Barcelona finished with a higher xG, there actually wasn’t much in it – a 1-1 draw was the most fair result. They also managed a win over Atletico Madrid but they were a little more lucky in that game. Both of those results, as well as a 4-1 win over Mallorca, came at home though and they aren’t as strong away from home compared to at home.

It all comes down to the odds though and I was very surprised to see Getafe trading 2.11 when I clicked into the market. Both sides come into this fixture in a very positive way, and I can’t see past a very close game here. I know Granada are a much better side at home, but I still feel that the 2.11 is way too short on Getafe. There really isn’t much between the sides, and I expect the game to reflect that – 2.11 is a nice value lay on the home side.

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Getafe to beat Granada at 2.11 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange!
