Sevilla host Real Betis in the Sevilla Derby and while we’ve seen good success for the away sides behind closed doors in the European games thus far, I really like the Sevilla win here. The 1.94 looks massive.
When we experience a break in the season like this, it’s always difficult to know what shape the players will return in or will the management have the right tactics in place. Those slight worries are the only reason why I have had a max bet on Sevilla after landing our max bet at the weekend in the Bundesliga.
Sevilla are sitting in third in La Liga and xG would put them in second, they have been excellent this season. They’ve only conceded 13 goals at home in 13 games while Real Betis have an xG of over 2 goals away from home. They currently sit in mid table and xG puts them there too – they are an average side. If both teams are in good health and return to action at the same level as they have been playing at this season, then Sevilla win.
Sevilla are an excellent price at 1.94, they have an xG of close to 2 goals at home, while for Real Betis that is only just over 1, with their actual under 1. And Betis are also conceding an xG of 2 goals away from home as already discussed. I’m happy to have a three point win bet, just because it’s the first game back. At these odds with a tune-up game, it would have to be a max bet at the odds. Sevilla are brilliant value.
