CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews the return of the Champions League on Tuesday with a recommended BETDAQ bet. It’s DYNAMO KIEV v JUVENTUS, CHELSEA v SEVILLA and PSG v MANCHESTER UNITED.

DYNAMO KIEV V JUVENTUS

5.55pm The Champions League is back! It’s been absolutely superb having the football season back after lockdown, and now the season is almost back to normal with the return of Europe’s elite competition. We might still be behind closed doors and have plenty of drama with the likes of Sky Sports going PPV on the Premier League – but it’s just brilliant to have football on. We start Tuesday even with Dynamo Kiev hosting Juventus in Group G; which sees Ronaldo and Messi clash later as Barcelona are also in this Group. It’s highly unlikely that Dynamo will go through, however their home fixtures will be important with a view to finishing third to get into the Europa League.

The summer has brought a lot of changes to Juventus. They have a new manager Andre Pirlo; which nobody saw coming let’s be honest! However, they have improved their squad with some exciting new players, which was badly needed considering the average age was getting a little high. They had a very poor xG last season, even though they won Serie A, and they have started this season a little slowly. They haven’t been beaten though, and had a few red cards. I see them as being fairly priced at 1.92, but I also see a pretty cagey game here. Dynamo are best at home, and they will know what a draw will mean too. I think we’ll have a pretty slow start and cagey affair, and under 2.5 goals is the value call at 1.88.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.88 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

CHELSEA V SEVILLA

8pm All BETDAQ betting exchange eyes might be on PSG v Man United, but this is an excellent fixture. It’s a shame that they are both on at the same time to be honest. Sevilla are an exceptional side, probably just short of top class, but this will be a difficult night for Chelsea. Sevilla were able to push the reigning Champions Bayern Munich to extra time in the UEFA Super Cup recently and they started La Liga very well this season – although they had a shock 1-0 loss against Granada at the weekend. They just didn’t perform which was a surprise considering they were able to hold Barcelona to a draw before the International break.

Chelsea had a disappointing result themselves at the weekend, drawing 3-3 here against Southampton. They went 2-0 up before 30 minutes and it looked over, only to concede two before re-taking the lead, and then conceding in the 92th minute! Ironically, The Striker on BETDAQ Tips, noted the weekend that Chelsea haven’t changed from last season in the sense that they are exciting going forward but still poor at the back. If ever there was a game to highlight that it came on Saturday! I think this will be a tough night for Chelsea, and they are worth laying at 2.16. Sevilla will give them a much more difficult test than odds of 2.16 suggest.

The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) Chelsea to beat Sevilla at 2.16 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE

PSG V MANCHESTER UNITED

8pm This is undoubtedly the highlight fixture of the first night! Manchester United fans will have fond memories of this fixture, winning 3-1 here in March 2019, producing an epic comeback and probably sealing the manager’s job for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Things went a little pear shaped after that and they went on a long run without a win, and now United fans can’t travel to see this fixture. Not only in football do things change quickly, the world changes quickly too. We should have a cracking fixture nonetheless.

United got a much needed win against Newcastle on Saturday night, however they looked shaky for much of the game and we all know how poor Newcastle are. It looks like they will have a tough season ahead, and perhaps we’ll get an idea about what’s to come in this fixture. PSG have been impressive in France, but we all know how many levels the French league is below the rest of Europe – however, all the PSG stars are fit and they were impressive in the Champions League last season. At the moment, United look like a side who aren’t creating enough to win games like this and they have been poor at the back too. This should be a comfortable home win for me – I know PSG have issues in big games at home, but they are usually in top form in the Group stages. Their confidence should improve from winning some big knockout games last season too, and it will be very interesting to see how far they go this season.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win PSG to beat Manchester United at 1.62 on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE
