LA LIGA TUESDAY Our football tipster The Ultra previews Tuesday’s La Liga games between GETAFE v ATLETICO MADRID and ATHLETIC BILBAO v RAYO VALLECANO both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

GETAFE V ATLETICO MADRID

6.30pm We almost have a full mid-week La Liga fixture list to enjoy on BETDAQ Betting Exchange this week! We kick off the action with Getafe hosting the Champions Atletico Madrid, with both sides looking to bounce back from a disappointing result on Saturday. Getafe were beaten 3-0 away to Rayo Vallecano while Atletico Madrid had to settle for a 0-0 draw at home to Athletic Bilbao. That was a little setback for Atletico in their bid to defend their title; as I said on Saturday – if they want to lift the title again they have to win games like that. As predicted, it was a very boring 0-0 and you’d imagine this game will be more open. Getafe are under pressure however and will likely take a draw so expect them to sit back a little. They are nailed to the bottom of La Liga now having lost their opening five games.

In my opinion, both sides have their issues to worry about at the start of the season. For Atletico Madrid, when you look at their xG figures you can see it’s clear they aren’t creating a lot of chances. This is an obvious worry and now they have drawn three of their last five games in all competitions. Since being held to a 2-2 draw with Villarreal at home, which in fairness they should have won, they have created xG figures of 1.11, 0.36 and 1.22. Those figures just aren’t good enough for a side like Atletico. I would like to see how they get on against a top side, we might not learn much about them here as Getafe look to be in poor form. They have had a tough fixture list as they had to play Sevilla and Barcelona, but their last two losses against Elche and Rayo Vallecano were very poor. They are two sides likely to be towards the bottom and Getafe performed very poorly. I know Atletico aren’t firing at the moment so I will limited stakes, but they should win here and are worth backing at 1.72.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Atletico Madrid to beat Getafe at 1.72 with BETDAQ Exchange.

ATHLETIC BILBAO V RAYO VALLECANO

9pm Next we have the two sides who played Getafe and Atletico Madrid on Saturday, and this should be a very interesting game. Rayo Vallecano have had a dream start to their La Liga campaign with two wins already from their five games. Considering they finished 6th to sneak into the Playoffs last season to get into La Liga, staying up would be a great achievement considering where they came from. Athletic Bilbao have made a great start to the season however, and they will be viewing this game as a chance to claim another three points. They have already had to play Barcelona and Atletico Madrid – they managed two draws against them and they unbeaten in their first five games. Their xG figures have been impressive too – they read; 0.72, 1.93, 1.73, 2.58 and 0.98. They actually could have beaten Barcelona, because xG figures 1.93 to 1.01.

The only reasonably poor performance this season from Bilbao came in their first game of the season away to Elche, but we can forgive a 0-0 to start the season. Rayo Vallecano must be full of confidence at the moment coming into this game, but I still have to back Bilbao at 1.98. I expected them to be trading around 1.9 when I clicked into the market, and the 1.98 looks very good value. You might even get above 2.0 at some stage leading up to kick off. I know Rayo Vallecano have started the season well, but they have had a good run of fixtures since losing to Sevilla and Real Sociedad in the first two games – this is a level up from their last three games, and they will come up short in my view.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Athletic Bilbao to beat Rayo Vallecano at 1.98 with BETDAQ Exchange.
