SEVILLA V CHELSEA

8pm What a night ahead in the Champions League. Two fantastic fixtures. Two massive fixtures. I can’t wait. We start with what should be the Group decider between Sevilla and Chelsea, after a draw in London both sides have ten points from four games. It’s fair to say that both Krasnodar and Rennes have been very weak in this Group but both sides will know what an advantage it is to top the Group. We should have an excellent game. Chelsea have been in fantastic form this season, and while they face a tough challenge here they wasn’t much between the sides in October when they played out a pretty boring 0-0.

It’s no surprise that we have a very open market on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Indeed, Chelsea are marginal favourites at 2.66. We’re having a crazy season in La Liga this year, and you could probably say the same about the Premier League too. Sevilla are currently fifth, eight points off the leader but with two games in hand. They have been unlucky at times too, for example beating beaten 1-0 by Eibar but the game had an xG of 2.07 to 0.12 to Sevilla. They also played pretty well against Barcelona in a 1-1 draw and while Chelsea have been scoring a lot of goals this season – there has been a lack of goals against the top sides. They played out very quiet games against Man United and Spurs recently, and I feel tha the 2.66 is worth laying tonight in what should be another very close game. I would have Sevilla shorter in the market, but the Chelsea lay makes more appeal than the Sevilla win.

MANCHESTER UNITED V PSG

8pm Everything is to play for in Group H tonight as Manchester United host PSG. It’s fair to say that United will be kicking themselves after putting themselves in such a strong position by beating PSG and RB Leipzig to throw it away with a loss against Istanbul Basaksehir. They corrected that with a 4-1 win here last week, so they go into this fixture three points ahead of PSG and RB Leipzig but the Group could have been wrapped up. Two losses would likely see United actually get knocked out depending on other results and surely they will view this fixture as vital given they have home advantage (whatever advantage that is these days!)

United were lucky to win in Paris, with the final xG saying a draw would have been a fair result. They played well in fairness and we should have an excellent game here. United did superbly well to come from two goals down against Southampton at the weekend, but it probably highlighted that they still have major issues and with PSG’s excellent forward line United should have problems again tonight. PSG will be a very popular bet at 2.5 but for me I have to go with over 2.5 goals at 1.64. PSG always like to play an open game and that should suit United too. Sometimes we can get boring games at Old Trafford but I think these two sides gel together well and we could see a lot of goals here. I’d have over 2.5 goals at least ten ticks shorter.
