PSG V ANGERS

8pm The action from Europe on BETDAQ Betting Exchange this Wednesday comes from Ligue 1 as PSG host Angers. The market is fully expecting a home win here with PSG trading as short as 1.14 at the time of writing – that’s one of the shortest football prices around this week! Angers are currently nailed to the bottom of Ligue 1, so it’s hard to see anything bar a comfortable PSG win here. Messi is back in the fold now too, and he is likely to start this game.

PSG played a very young side at the weekend in the Coupe de France, but after losing 3-1 to Lens at the start of month I’d expect a very strong XI here to get back to winning ways. We’re likely to see Messi, Neymar and Mbappe all back together, and when you’re sitting bottom of the table this is probably the last side you want to play away from home for Angers! While I wouldn’t call Angers detatched at the bottom of the table, things are looking a little bleak for them this season.

Angers have lost nine Ligue 1 games in a row since winning away to Nice in mid-September. Obviously we’ve had the World Cup break in the middle of that run, but that’s really not a nice run of form! When you look at their under-lining numbers they are struggling at both ends of the pitch, and I feel it’s a case of how many goals can PSG score rather than will they win here.

How many goals PSG score is the big question from a betting point of view here. Over 2.5 goals is trading as short as 1.32 so the betting markets are clearly expecting goals. Angers haven’t managed to find the net in their last three away games, so they might not contribute to Overs here. Both Teams Not To Score is 1.8 and that’s definitely an option here. The only negative with that bet is that PSG might score so many it turns into a very open game where they take the approach of “we’ll just score more than you.”

PSG usually get criticised for “not winning impressively enough” but they have a great platform to bang in a host of goals here. Their stats are impressive this season too – creating over two goals per game and only conceding just under one. I am very tempted by the Both Teams Not To Score bet, but I feel Any Other Home Win (PSG to score four or more goals and win) at 2.38 in the Correct Score market is the standout bet here. We should see a very easy win for PSG here and they can bang in four or more goals.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Any Other Home Win Correct Score at 2.38 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
