WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Wednesday’s games between NORTHERN IRELAND V BULGARIA, SCOTLAND V FAROE ISLANDS and ENGLAND V POLAND all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

NORTHERN IRELAND V BULGARIA

7.45pm We have the final day of this section of World Cup Qualifiers on Wednesday and we have a big night for the Home Nations. We start with the most competitive game from a betting point of view on BETDAQ Betting Exchange as Northern Ireland are slightly odds against at the moment. I’m not sure what Northern Ireland will be able to do in a Group with Italy and Switzerland, but if they want to achieve anything they simply have to win this game. Bulgaria are a very poor side – they finished bottom of their Nations League Group even behind the Republic of Ireland and we all know how bad they are at the moment.

Both sides have started the Group with losses, with Northern Ireland losing to Italy and Bulgaria losing to Switzerland and Italy. Those loses weren’t unexpected, and this is now the big game for both sides. Northern Ireland are a better side than Bulgaria, but they don’t do anything flashy and tend to grind out their wins. Home advantage is usually massive for Northern Ireland, but obviously that’s impacted by the lack of fans. All things considered, I’d have Northern Ireland odds on here and the 2.02 can’t be ignored to get the job done Bulgaria are a very limited side and it would be disappointing if we don’t see a home win here.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Northern Ireland to beat Bulgaria at 2.02 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

SCOTLAND V FAROE ISLANDS

7.45pm This is another “must win” game for the Home Nation as Scotland can’t afford to slip up here. The market is expecting an easy win, with Scotland currently trading 1.16. They have started their World Cup Qualifying campaign positively with two draws against Austria and Israel. The draw against Austria was a massive result and a great start for them, but they would have been disappointed with a draw to Israel. If they want to upset the odds and finish ahead either Denmark or Austria, which is unlikely, then they had to win games like that. They have played each other countless times recently though, and we know that there isn’t much between them. Whereas we know the Faroe Islands are very limited, and Scotland should win. Anything bar a win would be a disaster.

I don’t doubt that we will see a Scotland win here, although the Faroe Islands did top their Nations League Group. They were in a Group with Malta, Latvia and Andorra however we know how low that level is. It shows what a great competition the Nations League is though, and sides likes the Faroe Islands really benefit from it. As we saw with San Marino against England the other night, the extra confidence means they aren’t conceding as many goals. This is a game for small stakes, but I do like Faroe Islands +2.5 goals on the handicap. I fancy Scotland to grind out a win that isn’t pretty. Faroe Islands aren’t good enough to get a result, but they can give a good account of themselves.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Faroe Islands +2.5 goals to beat Scotland at 1.6 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

ENGLAND V POLAND

7.45pm We finish the night with England taking on Poland. England have started Group I perfectly with two wins from two games, and are already two points ahead at the top of the Group with all the sides having played twice. Poland would have been their biggest challenger in this Group, but they have to play this game without the injured Robert Lewandowski. Not only that, but they had two positive Covid19 cases in the camp confirmed on Tuesday. Poland said they expected the game to go ahead, but who knows what could happen and what kind of side they name between now and kick off. With that in mind, I will be keeping stakes to the minimum here.

For all the drama within the Polish camp, England’s price hasn’t changed much. They have been around 1.3 all the while. I would suggest that 1.3 looks pretty big now with Lewandowski out and the positive Covid19 cases – and perhaps it’s one for any BETDAQ Multiples today. England have put in two rock solid performances, and a third win would be the perfect start to the Group. They have the best platform to achieve that, and I feel they will dominate the game here. Both Teams Not To Score looks worth backing at 1.65 with a clean sheet for England expected.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.65 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
