WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Wednesday’s World Cup Qualifiers between NORTHERN IRELAND V SWITZERLAND, WALES V ESTONIA and POLAND V ENGLAND all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

NORTHERN IRELAND V SWITZERLAND

7.45pm We finish this round of World Cup Qualifying with a cracking Wednesday night of action! We have three massive games for the Home Nations, and it should be a fascinating evening on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We start with Northern Ireland hosting Switzerland in Group C, and if Northern Ireland could win here it would really shake things up. After Switzerland’s draw with Italy on Sunday, Northern Ireland find themselves only three points behind Switzerland in second. Italy should top the Group, but given they are only four points clear of Switzerland having played two more games; Switzerland will have other ideas about Italy topping the Group! It’s fair to say this is a huge game in Group C, and it will go a long way to deciding Northern Ireland’s fate – if they lose their hope of qualifying are gone, if they win they are slap bang in the race.

I’m sure there will be a lot of nervous Northern Ireland fans, but Windsor Park will be absolutely rocking on Wednesday. There’s no getting away from the fact that Switzerland play at a better level than Northern Ireland – they have much more quality in their side and will likely create more chances. For me however it’s all about the odds, and Switzerland look a little short here at 1.71. Northern Ireland are a different side with home advantage, and the atmosphere will be massive for this game too. They should be full of confidence after a 4-1 win over Lithuania coming into this fixture and I’m happy to lay Switzerland at the odds. I would have them a little bigger than 1.8, as I feel with home advantage Northern Ireland can get a result here. This is always a tricky place to come and win, and Northern Ireland usually keep games very tight – I’m sure there will be a lot of under 2.5 goals fans as well!

The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Switzerland to beat Northern Ireland at 1.71 with BETDAQ Exchange.

WALES V ESTONIA

7.45pm Next we move to Group E for a must win game for Wales. The market says Wales should win here as they are trading as short as 1.2, and anything other than a smooth home win would be a shock. Wales have found themselves in a great position in Group E, but they can’t afford to slip up. Belgium will certainly top this Group, as anything other than that would be a shock, but at the moment, Wales are only one point behind Czech Republic. Wales have only played three games two while the Czech Republic have played five. The Czech Republic have already played Belgium twice, while Wales still have to play them – however if they could win their two games in hand they would be in a fantastic position. They also have to play Czech Republic away from home in October, which is obviously going to be a huge game for second place.

Estonia have lost their opening three games, and this is probably more of a question of how many goals can Wales score rather than will they win. Estonia have played some very open football in the Group so far – they have conceded a lot of goals in doing this, but they have scored too. Wales need to be a little careful because they haven’t really be banging in the goals for fun themselves. Estonia lost 6-2 to Czech Republic, 4-2 to Belarus and 5-2 to Belgium. I’m surprised to see over 2.5 goals as big as 1.75 here as I feel Estonia are unlikely to sit back and play for a draw. These probably aren’t wise tactics, but you can argue they are having some success in front of goal. This could be a very open game; although Wales have tended to focus on keeping games quite tight in recent years, so I’m happy to limit stakes.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.75 with BETDAQ Exchange.

POLAND V ENGLAND

7.45pm Last but not least we move to Group I for a top of the table clash between Poland and England. This will be the second top of the table clash for England in this International break, as they played Hungary when they sat second – they easily brushed them aside 4-0 and they have a perfect five from five record in the Group. Poland started this Group quite slowly, but they always looked like they would finish second and they have climbed into that position after 4-1 and 7-1 wins over Albania and San Marino. Nothing unexpected there in fairness given the quality in those sides, and England brushed aside Andorra on Sunday with a 4-0 win too. This should be a very good game, and another tricky away tie on paper for England. They should come through it however; the Euro 2020 runners-up have an excellent amount of talent and match winners in their squad at the moment.

England needed a late goal to beat Poland 2-1 earlier in the Group, and you would imagine we’ll see a reasonably close game again here. We won’t see any 4-0 wins! England have been very impressive lately, there’s no getting away from that fact, they have also kept things very tight at the back too. That has been their weakness but they seem to have fixed things for the moment – you can’t get away from the attacking talent they have! They are a tempting bet here at around 1.7 and I’m sure they will have a lot of fans at that price but under 2.5 goals is my bet at 1.76. We saw a very close game when England had home advantage between these two, and I can’t see anything other than a tight game here. England have impressed me at the back, and I can see them keeping this game very tight – perhaps they can grind out a 1-0 win but unders looks better value than the England win in my opinion.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Under 2.5 goals at 1.76 with BETDAQ Exchange.
