WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Wednesday’s games between TURKEY V NETHERLANDS, SERBIA V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND and BELGIUM V WALES all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

TURKEY V NETHERLANDS

5pm It almost feels a little strange starting the FIFA 2022 World Cup Qualifiers before we have saw Euro 2020, or now Euro 2021, but we kick the action off on Wednesday and we have some excellent fixtures tonight. We have some excellent markets on BETDAQ Betting Exchange , with a lot of competitive betting heats. We start the evening with Turkey hosting the Netherlands in Group G. Netherlands will be red-hot favourites to win this Group, but it should be very close between Turkey and Norway as to who comes second. With three weak sides in the Group, it will be the results between the top three that decide their fate bar any massive shocks against the minnows.

Turkey is always a tricky place to come, but given the world has changed in 2020 we won’t have the intimidating atmosphere here. Turkey struggled in the Nations League, finishing last in a Group with Hungary, Russia and Serbia thus getting relegated to Group C for next time. Since missing out on a few major tournament, Netherlands have been excellent and have a bright young side at the moment. I wouldn’t view this game as a game for big games, but Netherlands should outclass this Turkey side. Turkey are pretty average, and granted it’s a tough place to win, Netherlands should easily out score them.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Netherlands to beat Turkey at 1.84 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

SERBIA V REPUBLIC OF IRELAND

7.45pm We start Group A with a massive fixture. I don’t think there’s much doubt that Portugal will top Group A, but Serbia and Ireland will battle it out for second. With only Luxembourg and Azerbaijan in the Group as well, the results between these two will more than likely be the deciding factor. Although don’t rule out a boring draw with Ireland against the minnows given their problems in front of goal recently! Even the biggest optimist would say Ireland have been very poor lately. They haven’t managed a goal in their last six games, and while they have had a reasonably tough fixture list there are no excuses not to score against the likes of Finland. They avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth in the Nations League but they only managed three points – it was just because Bulgaria only managed two, ironically coming in two draws with Ireland.

Serbia aren’t world beaters, but it’s hard to see Ireland beating them. Ireland have massive problems in front of goal, and while you would say that being away suits them more than being at home – when you can’t create much in front of goal you’re always going to struggle for results. It feels like Ireland’s best chance of a result is a 0-0 draw before every game at the moment. Serbia only won once in the Nations League, so again this isn’t a game to go mad on stakes wise, but Serbia are the bet here to beat a very poor Irish side.

Two points win Serbia to beat Republic Of Ireland at 1.68 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

BELGIUM V WALES

7.45pm Another massive game! In fairness, we start the World Cup Qualifiers with a bang tonight! Wales face the very difficult task of trying to get a result against Belgium. Once again similar to the games above, Belgium will top Group E and then Wales and Czech Republic will battle it out for second and it should be reasonably close. If Wales could pick up a draw here it would be a massive result; it’s hard to see them winning. Belgium are usually very impressive in qualifying, go into a major tournament as everyone’s “dark horses” and end up falling short. They probably need to have a very good tournament soon given they won’t always have such a strong squad. You can’t imagine the next set of players coming through will be as good as what they have now.

The market is very confident on a Belgium win, with them trading as short as 1.31 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Wales have been pretty limited lately, they topped their Nations League Group but anything bar that would have been disappointing given they had a Group with Finland, Ireland and Bulgaria. They have played Ireland a lot over the last few years, and we know how limited Ireland are. Perhaps Wales football will get a wakeup call if Belgium rack up the goals here. I think Wales will try and keep it tight here, and we could get a boring 1-0 or 2-0 win to Belgium. A small bet on under 2.5 goals at 2.12 looks a good value option.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 2.12 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
