WEEK AHEAD: This week brings cricket’s newest initiative to a close and if the rest of the competition is anything to go by, we’re in for a treat with this weekend’s finale.

The week is started with three cricket matches on Monday, it’s the final days play in both the England and India Test at Lords which can be seen on Sky Sports. Following that comes the fixture between Southern Brave and the Oval Invincibles, where places in the final will be on the line. Tuesday and Wednesday bring just the one sporting event each with the Northern Superchargers hosting Birmingham Phoenix and Welsh Fire welcome London Spirit across the border, both games can be seen at 18:30 on Sky Sports.

Thursday is the start of the Northern Trust where some of the big names feature for the first tournament in the play-off system for the FedEx Cup. As ever, all the action can be seen until the competition’s culmination on Sunday. Friday brings the start of the second Test between the West Indies and Pakistan, before The Hundred’s Eliminator fixture begins in the evening, which will determine who plays the group leader in Saturday’s final.

Liverpool and Burnley get us underway for the weekend on Saturday with their lunchtime kick off before Brighton and Watford take us through to the final of the inaugural Hundred, where they’ll be big hitting, big names, and even bigger celebrations for the winning side on display.

On Sunday we round off the week on the south coast for Southampton and Manchester United, before travelling to Jamaica for day three of the West Indies test, then on to North London for a local derby between Arsenal and Chelsea. Finally, we end up in New Jersey for the remaining action of the Northern Trust. A solid week of action available for everyone to get involved in.
