WORLD CUP: We preview Monday’s three World Cup games between SWEDEN v SOUTH KOREA, BELGIUM v PANAMA and TUNISIA v ENGLAND each with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SWEDEN V SOUTH KOREA
1pm With these two ending up in a Group with Germany and Mexico, this is a must win game for both! Sweden shocked everyone to come through a Playoff against Italy and have to come into this game as clear favourites – South Korea have lost or been held to a draw against some very poor teams on the way to this World Cup and you’d have to feel that Sweden will have too much class.
Sweden aren’t odds on though, the match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Sweden 2.1, South Korea 4.5 and the draw is 3.25. South Korea lost to Iran, China and Qatar while qualifying which raises worries straight away; however further to that they could only draw with Syria and Uzbekistan. Sweden have came here through beating Italy and France in the Group stages – we can only see one way traffic here to start Monday and Sweden look huge value at 2.1.

BELGIUM V PANAMA
4pm Belgium are currently trading 1.19 on BETDAQ to beat Panama which is the shortest price so far in this World Cup! That probably tells us all we need to know about this game and it’s very hard to see anything but a smooth Belgium win here. Panama did manage to hold Wales to a draw recently in Cardiff however Wales haven’t been at their best this year. They recently lost 6-0 to Switzerland too and looking at the Belgium squad, they are a good bit better than the Swiss side.
Panama will no doubt come here to defend and try to claim a draw, however it’s hard to see them keeping on this Belgium side who are full of talent. Belgium are currently trading 2.02 -2 goals in the Asian Handicap (stakes void if Belgium win by exactly two) and that looks great value.

TUNISIA V ENGLAND
7pm After a long wait for England fans, the Three Lions finally have their first World Cup game on Monday evening! They’ve got a pretty easy Group with Tunisia, Panama and Belgium so they should definitely finish first or second – and the game with Belgium will be their only test in the Group stage. England have a history of letting everyone down on the big occasions though, so will we see a shock here?
There’s no doubt the pressure will be immense, and the match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Tunisia 9.8, England 1.44 and the draw is 4.8. The one thing you’d say about this England side is that they find it hard to break down sides – how many boring games have we seen at Wembley recently? However, they do tend to get the job done eventually and it could be worth checking what price is a 1-0 or 2-0 England win in the correct score market closer to kick off. We can see Tunisia causing England some frustration, however we expect and England win in the end. We like under 2.5 goals at 1.8 which looks good value.
