WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: We preview Saturday’s games between SWEDEN v BELARUS, BULGARIA v NETHERLANDS and PORTUGAL v HUNGARY with recommended BETDAQ bets.

SWEDEN V BELARUS

5pm With things tight in Group A – this one is massive for Sweden with one (or both) of their rivals going to drop points this weekend. Sweden don’t have a great home record in the qualifiers this time around, however they will be pleased to come up against Belarus who haven’t won a game yet in Group A.

We feel that Sweden look a massive price at 1.54. Belarus will really miss Hleb who got sent off against Bulgaria, and they seem to really struggle to score away from home. Sweden netted six times in their last home game, a friendly against Slovakia, and they looked pretty good in doing so. Anything close to that form should be more than enough here and the 1.54 just looks too big.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Sweden to beat Belarus at 1.54.

BULGARIA V NETHERLANDS

7.45pm The Netherlands must have been absolutely gutted to miss out on Euro 2016, and if they don’t win here they will find themselves in another tricky situation. France are currently 3 points clear with 10 points, however then we have Netherlands and Sweden on 7 points with Bulgaria on 6. A home win here would be huge for Bulgaria, and they are currently 7.4 to get it, while the Netherlands are 1.56 and the draw is 4.3.

Bulgaria have recently lost away to both Sweden and France, however they’ve won their last three home games. Apart from their last game against Belarus where they won 1-0, a notable thing about their recent games has been they’ve been packed with goals. Five of their last six have seen over 2.5, while four of those had over 3.5. Couple this with the fact that the Netherlands have failed to keep a clean sheet since June 2016 and we feel the bet here is overs in the goals market rather than playing anything in the match odds. Over 2.5 is 2.0 which looks big!

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 2.0.

PORTUGAL V HUNGARY

7.45pm Much like both of the games above in Group A – this is a really important fixture in Group B. Portugal’s loss to Switzerland in their opening game means that they find themselves in a fight with Hungary for second – for the time being anyway. They’re currently two points ahead of Hungary, and three points behind Switzerland, with Switzerland unlikely to slip up against any of the other sides in the group, Portugal must win here.

And the markets think they will, as they’re currently trading just 1.3. They’ve won six of their last seven qualifiers at home, and it’s hard to see a Hungary win here. Indeed, we expect Hungary to come here to just defend, and hopefully come away with a point. We expect this one to be a tight and cagey affair given the way Hungary will approach the game, and with no real value in the match odds market, under 2.5 goals appeals at 2.1.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.1.
